Nissan Sunny 2014 Road Test Video
There is a lot of demand for sedans in the Indian car market, especially
for well featured cars. For this reason, Nissan has upgraded its premium
sedan Sunny with lots of more bells and whistles. The interiors of this new
Nissan Sunny gets a major overhaul. To begin with, it has a new generation
steering wheel along with a piano black central console that can be found
in the Micra hatchback. The variants below XV trim are fitted with a music
system with USB, AUX-In and Bluetooth Connectivity, which are not seen in
its previous models. The top end variant is equipped with an infotainment
system that has a 5.1-inch color display along with a rear parking camera.
The XV variant also gets electrically folding outside mirrors as well. This
top end variant comes with two additional pack options, which are being
called as luxury and safety. The luxury pack comes with leather upholstery,
while the safety pack has two side airbags. However, customers can opt for
both these packs at an extra cost. Nissan has made several changes to the
vehicle, but they are mostly cosmetic. Mechanically, this sedan remains the
same, but its diesel mill gets an upgraded ECM (engine control module).
This helps in further increasing the fuel efficiency to 22.7 Kmpl (as per
ARAI certification). The petrol version is powered by the same 1.5-litre
engine, which is available with a 5-speed manual and a CVT gearbox option.
The drivability is still the same, while the steering wheel feels very
light. The company has now ensured that this sedan gets all the features
that are required by its consumers like leather trim, airbags and Bluetooth
connectivity as well.
Definitive Z: The Limit and Legacy of the Datsun 240Z
John Williams is as hardcore a Datsun as a they come. A relative
late-comer, he embraced the Z culture in the early 1980s. Since then he's
used his skills as a machinist, and passion as an enthusiast, to produce
his own parts for award-winning classics. Among the finest is his silver
240Z, a labor of love for a sports car that changed the West's perception
of what the Japanese could do. Three generations later, the Nissan Z
continues to define the Japan's sports car culture.
Find out why.
