'77 Chevy Silverado: Fresh 350 with 305 heads, Howards Cam
Low-buck build. 2-bolt main 350 (3970010). Speed Pro Hypereutectic flat top pistons (.020" - H345DCP20). Balanced. 305 heads (376450), heavily ported, back-cut valves, radiused Exhaust valves. Howard's Cams 98212 springs (115#@1.78", 340#@1.25"). Howard's Cams 110961-08 (231@.050, .470", 108LSA, 104ICL). Felpro steel shim head gasket (#1094 - 0.015" thick). Flowtech long-tube headers, 2-1/2" mandrel bend pipes to generic Walker mufflers, 2-1/4" tail pipes. Rochester Quadrajet on an Edelbrock Performer intake. Ford Windstar dual electric fans. This just after seating the rings. Still to re-curve distributor, change power piston spring, and fine-tune.

1987 Trans Am First Start Up
This is my 87 Trans Am. It came with the boatanchor 305 v8 but I acquired a 350. The 350 is bored .030 over and has forged pistons. The heads are stock LO5 truck heads but I have a LT1 cam in it. All the TPI hardware is from the 305 including the injectors AND computer. I put a thick washer in the fuel pressure regulator to increase the fuel pressure to supply more fuel for the 355. This is the first start up. Timing and tunning haven't been dialed in yet. Open headers for now baby!
