Classic Mini TV - Talking about the Mini's SU HIF 44 Carburettor
http://tvmatkilat.com/?p=376 Hey there Classic Mini fan! Thanks for stopping by Classic Mini Tv. Please click on the "Show More" right below for more info... As always, thank you for visiting our channel. With all those other great YouTube videos out there, it makes us appreciate your visit here even more! Thanks! For those of you who are new here to Tv Mat Kilat, we would be thrilled if you would consider giving our video a Thumbs Up and Subscribing toTv Mat Kilat. We would really love to have your support. Ok. For our third episode of Classic Mini Tv, we create a response video to a question we recieved from one Tv Mat Kilat's readers who had a carburettor question. And so in this video response, the boys from MiniWorks talk about the SU HIF 44 carburettor. They start of talking about where and how to adjust the idle mixture and the tools they use to adjust the idle mixture screw. They talk about needles, how to determine which needle you have and what needle they particularly recommend for the 1300 Mini engine. They talk about the operation of the dashpot and what oils they use in the dashpot. Being our third video, we still have a long way to go towards making things look a lot more professional, and so our apologies for the multitude of mistakes and shortcomings... The link you see above will take you to the article as it appears in our website. We hope you'll take a visit there and use the comments section under the article to leave us your comments or questions. Thanks again for watching.

MGB Update - SU Removal 06-20-10
A change in plans. A DYI carb rebuild gets serious when it is discovered the throttle shafts are worn. So I'm shipping them out to someone with a stellar reputation for rebuilding SU carburetors.
