In the past I've thought of air suspension as a modification reserved for
trucks, low riders, and show cars. But what about sports cars? Is it
possible to have the look you want at a show, the handling you want at the
limit, and the practicality of clearing speed bumps and driveways? The guys
from Accuair Suspensions say there is, so we put their Audi S4 to the test.

The S tronic dual-clutch transmission is a successful technology. It
combines the convenience of an automatic with the efficiency of a manual
transmission, while adding its own dynamic touch. Throughout much of the
model line-up -- from the A1 to the A7 Sportback -- the S tronic is
available in four different versions, with six or seven gears.

Last night we enjoyed a great winter storm, well over 12" (30 cm) at my
house. I wanted to see if my lowered Audi S4 on Dunlop Wintersport 4D snow
tires was up to the task going through such deep snow.

set of huge 19-inch aluminum alloy wheels with high performance tires. Also
on the outside there is S-badging all around, aluminum Optic side mirrors,

seats with Alcantara inserts. You can choose from carbon fiber, brushed
aluminum, or stainless steel inserts and trim. The steering wheel is very

Audi's S4 has been on the scene since 1991 as Audi's automotive performance
response to BMW's M3 and Merc's C-Class AMG. Quick, sophisticated and a
sleeper in its own right, the S4 still tended to reserve itself for those
who wanted solid performance and creature comforts but didn't necessarily
pine for the M3's razor handling and steering precision and the C-Class
AMG's raucous power. Well, 2013's S4 isn't lacking in any particular
department but it isn't exactly rushing to show off with a boisterous
aesthetic. What the S4 does do is provide its driver with a sporty and
luxurious cabin, tech appointments to impress, and the kind of road
experience that makes one crave that extra trip to the hardware store on

So I was over at Raven Motorsports today to pickup my spacers. I got into
a conversation with Matt about launch control. He told me he knows how to
do it. I assumed it was so ghetto way, but then when he took me through it
I realized it was actual launch control. He told me it was a big secret
but I managed to convince him to let me share it with the world. So...but

2014 Audi S4 Quattro Manual - WR TV POV Test Drive 1/2
This week we row our own gears in a manual gearbox-equipped Audi S4
Quattro. This Misano Red example comes equipped with the Black Optic
package, which includes 19-inch wheels, summer tires and high-gloss black
The S4's 3.0-liter supercharged V6 churns out 333 horsepower and 325
pound-feet of torque and is matched to a close-ratio six-speed transmission
with a dual mass flywheel, which then routes the grunt to a Quattro sports
differential, making for quite an entertaining drive
For the best video experience, we encourage you to wear headphones or
earbuds. The audio in this video was recorded with in-ear binaural
microphones. Because these microphones record sound from inside the ear,
playing the sound through headphones gives the sensation of 3D sound. All
of this translates to a very realistic listening experience.
