Fox Marketing Hyundai Veloster Turbo 370hp@23psi
The main focus of this build was to showcase the reliability, and performance capability from Hyundai's G4FJ power plant. With a properly engineered turbo kit this Veloster turbo can consistently provide an enthusiast with over 370 horsepower. Because the G4FJ is so strong from the factory, we added a new 845 Motorsports turbo Upgrade to achieve the highest horsepower Veloster in the WORLD! This turbo kit upgrade features the BorgWarner EFR turbo which has a wastegate, and blow off valve built into the housing. To properly and accurately tune the vehicle, Jay Kim from Seoulful Racing was selected for his Factory ECU Tuning capabilities. For additional power and durability, an AEM Water/Meth Injection system was added to keep the G4FJ engine safe during higher Boost levels mixed with VP Racing 101 octane performance fuel. Since the car has these types of power numbers we need serious traction - so a Uniq Performance Strut brace, Import Shark Chassis bracing matched with ARK Performance coilover were used. We then hand-built the new front bumper, smoothed out the factory lines, and added Genesis Fog Lights. Then, we painted the Veloster BASF R-M Oynx HD Waterborne SkyAqua Pearl which was hand made in the BASF Refinish color lab. The interior was upgraded with new TAKATA Drift III 4-Point Street Legal belts, Street Pro LE Seats with TAKATA fabric wrapped rear seats. We hope you enjoy our vision for this new Veloster turbo Engine: 1.6L T-GDi Gamma Engine 370hp@23psi VP101 302hp@19psi - 93 Octane 178hp@18psi -- Factory Dyno Numbers Seoulful Racing Factory ECU Custom Tune 845 Motorsports turbo Upgrade -Borg Warner EFR 6258 -845 Motorsports Stainless steel Tubular Manifold 1.5" primaries with 1/2" flanges -Vband 3" 304 stainless downpipe -845 Motorsports 3" Aluminum Cold Air Intake -Front mount Intercooler 22x8x3.5 -2.25" aluminum hot side charge pipe -2.5" aluminum cold side charge pipe -Custom oil and coolant lines Nitrous Express N-Tercooler Sprayer AEM X-Wifi (EGT-Air Fuel) iPhone Mobil Gauge Solution AEM Water/Meth Injection w/ 5GLA Tank AEM Tru-Boost ARK Performance 2.5 inch cat back Exhaust VP Racing VP101 Unleaded Street Legal Performance Fuel Suspension: ARK Performance 35 Way Adjustable Coilovers Uniq Performance Strut Tower Brace Import Shark Mid Brace Import Shark Chassis Brake Import Shark Lower Tie Bar Import Shark X Bracing Import Shark Rear Sway Bar Import Shark Front Sway Bar Interior: TAKATA Street Pro LE Reclining Racing Seats TAKATA Seat Sliders TAKATA Drift III Street Legal 4-point Harnesses Custom Steel Bases TAKATA Drift 3 Black Harnesses Custom TAKATA Rear Seats Exterior: BASF R-M Oynx HD Waterborne SkyAqua Paint BASF R-M Oynx HD Black D403 Paint Custom Hyundai Genesis Fog Light Pockets Hyundai Genesis Fog Lights ImportShark Front Lip Spoiler Veloster turbo Side Skirts Custom Rear Bumper Mesh TAKATA Racing Black Tow Strap Wheels & Tires: 18x8.75 XXR 530 Wheels 215/40/18 Toyo T1 Sport Braking: Front: WP Pro EX6 6 Piston Caliper w/ Carbon Fiber Ducting and 13.6" Wavy Cut Rotors Stainless Steel Braded Lines Partners: Hyundai USA BASF Refinish TAKATA Racing USA VP Racing Fuels 845 Motorsports Seoulful Racing WP Pro Brakes Borg Warner turbochargers XXR Wheels Toyo Tires Import Shark Nitrous Express AEM Electronics Uniq Performance ARK Performance R Miller Auto

In the USA, the Veloster is equipped with BlueLink, a new telemetics system which will eventually be standard on all Hyundai models. The system is comparable to OnStar in GM vehicles, and provides customers with automatic crash notification, vehicle diagnostics, and remote control of vehicle features, among others. The turbocharged model includes 1.6-liter turbocharged GDI four-cylinder engine rated for either 186 PS (137 kW; 183 hp) at 5,500 rpm or 150 kW (204 PS; 201 hp) at 6,000 rpm depending on market, and 27 kg·m (265 N·m; 195 lb·ft) at 1,750-4,500 rpm, sport-tuned engine intake and Exhaust note, sport-tuned steering, unique front fascia, foglights and ground effects, Hyundai-first Matte Gray paint, 18-inch alloy wheels with chrome inserts and Kumho Solus KH25 215/40R18 85V tires, projection headlights with unique LED headlight accents, side mirrors with turn signal indicators, LED taillights, supervision cluster, leather seating surfaces with driver's lumbar support, heated front seats, turbo exclusive Graphite Black interior with Blue accents and headliner graphics. It is a version of Veloster 1.6 GDi, inspired by the proverb 'A rolling stone gathers no moss'. Designed by Hyundai Design North America, it included a canvas roof that opens to the rear or windshield of the vehicle, fixed-gear bikes, a flat black spoiler, glass close out and convertible top rails, black rear reflector bezels, license plate pocket and badge; upfront flat red mirror housings, black front wheels, fog lamp bezels, front grille and badging; flat teal rear wheels, red reflectors and smoked taillights, Large free flowing circular Exhaust pipes, big, bold hexagonal front grille, sculpted side skirts, diffuser vents in the lower rear fascia, 18-inch wheels with chrome inserts, 8 individual headlight LED accents. The vehicle was unveiled in 2012 LA Auto Show. Rhys Millen drove a version of Veloster race car with a 2-litre engine rated 500 hp with all wheel drive in the Summer X Games during 2011 US Rallycross Championship Series.[18][19] The partnership between Rhys Millen Racing and Hyundai Motor America continued for 2012 Global RallyCross Championship season. In January 2012, Turn 10 Studios announced on the official Forza Motorsport 4 website that the 2013 Hyundai Veloster turbo as well as Rhys Millen's Veloster Rally Car are available as a free downloadable content. Hyundai partnered with the Rhys Millen Red Bull Rallycross team in the 2011 U.S. Rallycross Championship. During the six planned races in 2011, the on-site activations focused on the performance tuned production vehicles, Genesis Coupe and Veloster, and local brand managers gave attendees tours of the cars and collecting attendee data via surveys on buyer interest and brand consideration. Large flat screens played race footage and rallycross highlights. A TV commercial titled 'Cheetah', featuring a caged cheetah set to race a new 201 horsepower Veloster turbo on a long stretch of open road, was premiered during the first quarter of 2012 Super Bowl. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyundai_Veloster
