Exterior design
Coined from the terms "professional tool" and "trendy design," Subaru's "Protren" design concept symbolizes the fusion of SUV functionality and urban persona.
· It features a new type of crossover design that combines a stylish, flowing form with a high body and side cladding that enhances the sense of functionality of SUV.
· Equipped with a hexagon grille and hawk eye headlights, these design features emphasize the unique identity of Subaru vehicles. The innovatively designed alloy wheels and cut-away cladding give the XV a sporty and attractive appearance.
· The corners of the front and rear bumpers were designed with special edges that enhance the aerodynamic performance of the vehicle and also contribute to better fuel efficiency.
Interior design
Along with the roomy and comfortable interior, a stylish design was selected to bring out the best qualities of the chosen materials and give passengers a feeling of quality.
· The instrument panel is styled horizontally, which gives a more roomy feeling.
· A luxurious interior was created that perfectly balances the different tactile and emotional qualities of leather, metal, and cloth.
· The Multi-Function Display is highly visible in the upper middle section of the instrument panel and provides the driver and passengers with information necessary for practical driving in a highly intuitive format. For high-grade type*1, a large 4.3 inches full-colour LCD is equipped with advanced infotainment such as eco-driving display and vehicle information display which supports the driver in a great many ways.

Engine and transmission
The new generation Subaru Boxer engine, which was introduced last year with a totally new design, is installed in 1.6-litre and 2.0-litre petrol models. Along with the usual merits that horizontally opposed engines inherently possess, this engine has improved fuel efficiency and Exhaust performance. Together with the adoption of the new Lineartronic (CVT), a newly developed "Auto Start Stop System", the fuel efficiency was further improved. Also the Subaru Boxer Diesel, which was specially developed for the European market and received very favourable reviews, is featured in the XV line-up and is the most likely model to arrive in Ireland.

New Subaru BRZ Sexy Commercial 2013 The Cool Driver
The New Subaru BRZ 2012 STI is a compact 2+2 concept car developed by Subaru and manufactured by Fuji Heavy Industries and Toyota Motor Corporation as a joint effort. A production version of the BRZ Concept STI is set to be available in production form in Spring of 2012. It is a front engine rear-wheel drive car. It is the second FR car from Subaru with the first being Subaru's first car ever, the Subaru 1500. The car will be powered by a naturally aspirated 2.0 L Flat-4 Boxer engine from Subaru that includes the D4S direct injection system from Toyota. In the USA, the car will be available as both a Subaru and a Scion with only minor differences in the front fascia. Toyota's preproduction version has been shown as the Toyota FT-86.
The Toyota and Scion have little distinguishing elements - the latter has cheaper pieces to reduce base price in the United States. The Subaru BRZ differs mainly in its front end, where the grille has an hexagonal shape versus an inverted trapezoid in the Toyota and Scion. In North America, the Toyota version, sold as a Scion, comes with one trim package, limiting choices to the type of transmission installed. The Subaru version comes in two trim packages, labeled as Premium and Limited.[20] The Premium is the equivalent of the North American Scion FR-S with the addition of satellite navigation, while the Limited adds extra features such as heated seats and exterior mirrors, dual-zone climate control, and keyless ignition.
In Japan, it will be exclusive to Toyota Japan dealerships called Netz Store locations, which uses the same sales approach used at North American sales channel called Scion.
It was first presented as a concept car at the October 2009 Tokyo Motor Show under the name Toyota FT-86, FT being shorthand for "Future Toyota". Later, a high-performance version was launched at the January 2010 Tokyo Auto Salon as the Toyota FT-86 G Sports. At the 2011 Geneva Motor Show, a third concept car was shown, the Toyota FT-86 II. The BRZ and FR-S also had their concept cars, the Subaru BRZ Concept STI and the Scion FR-S Concept. The production version of the 86, BRZ and FR-S were unveiled at the 2011 Tokyo Motor Show.
Initially, the 86 and sister models will feature a Subaru-sourced naturally aspirated 2.0 L flat-4 boxer gasoline engine (Toyota engine code 4U-GSE, Subaru engine code FA20) that will deliver 200 PS (147 kW; 197 hp) that includes a direct injection system from Toyota. The model will be offered with two six-speed transmissions: a manual and an automatic with paddle shifters. The weight of the 86 is 1,180 to 1,250 kilograms (2,600 to 2,760 lb) depending on specification and equipment.[21]
On 16 March 2012 a line-off ceremony was held at Subaru's Gunma Main Plant (Ota-city, Gunma Prefecture, Japan) with Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) President Akio Toyoda and honored guests in attendance, in commemoration of the production start of the Subaru BRZ and Toyota 86. Fuji Heavy Industries (FHI) and TMC first agreed on business collaboration in October 2005. After the companies expanded their cooperative ties with new agreements related to development and production in April 2008, they then began four years of development. The completion of this joint-development product also marks a great achievement of the alliance between FHI and TMC.[22] During the first month since February 2, 2012 Toyota received 7,000 pre-orders on Toyota 86 model in Japan. First Toyota 86 sales are scheduled to begin on April 6.[23]

Let's face the reality,... Japanese maker are the ones to succeed twice, no selling just 'brand' or as "new" makers are pretending to be better betraying people; even although people in denial, different makers' followers don't accept it, TOYOTA is the perfect example and prove.
After seeing how the ** and ** along with mass-media and, especially two car makers created the worst movie ever made against Toyota, the reality is simple, Toyota is here and will be forever as the most advanced car maker with the best quality and giving real and stable jobs.
