Hyundai Genesis 2.0T R Spec Racing Sound Agency Power Catback Exhaust
www.vividracing.com - The Agency Power catback Exhaust system for the Hyundai Genesis 2.0T coupe was installed and tested here at Vivid Racing. The end result was a +10whp +4tq using the Mustang II AWD Dyno. Overall, the Agency Power Exhaust adds an aggressive sound that is still mild enough to drive daily as well as the impressive gains. The Exhaust is constructed with 304 Stainless Steel and is finished with Titanium Tips.

Hyundai Genesis Coupe 3.8 Ultimate, in Caspian Black Metallic, featuring
Black premium leather upholstery. This review is to provide accurate and
education information to potential clients and consumers alike.
With the release of the Genesis premium sedan in 2008, Hyundai made plans
to release a smaller, lighter, faster version of their premium luxury
sedan. That car, was the Genesis Coupe. A new beginning for Hyundai's aim
to land a punch in the world of the hot 2 door sports cars. With the
Tiburon being discontinued in 2009, the GC was then able to effectively
take over as the new hot sports car from Hyundai. So will this newly
sculpted 2014 model carry on the legend? Watch the review to find out for

2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0t Exhaust
2013 Genesis Coupe 2.0t R-Spec. Exhaust setup is the stock o2 housing, a turboXS 3 inch catless racepipe, and the CP-E
cat-back Exhaust with no muffler or
resonator. The car only has the primary catalytic converter, which is
located in the o2 housing. The car also has a K&N short ram intake and the
recirculation hose has been removed.
I need to reshoot the interior sound because I need a better mic that can
handle the noise.

If the 2009 Hyundai Genesis was a shot across the bow of Lexus and
Infiniti, then the 2015 Genesis 5.0 is a torpedo hit below the water. While
BMW and Mercedes didn't seem overly concerned about the last generation
Genesis, this 2015 model should make them very worried indeed.
From the outside, the Genesis (in all trims) strikes most of the right
cords with luxury shoppers that prefer flowing lines to sharp creases.
While previous products from Korea have been more imitation than
innovation, the Genesis both deviates from the theme yet clearly draws
inspiration from the rivals.
Of course the ultimate question is: can Hyundai convince luxury car buyers
that they can get most of the same goodies on a $50K Hyundai as a $70K
German or Japanese sedan? Even if that hurdle can be jumped, will the brand
conscious think twice? To those adventurous car shoppers who manage to look
beyond brand perception, they will find a car maker with the best warranty
in the industry making reliable cars with a dollop of style and a 'whole
lotta' value. What kind of buyer are you? Are you buying that LS460 because
it carries a $70,000 price tag, or because you like the way it coddles you?
Are you buying the BMW for the roundel or for the 0-60 time? I would posit
the Hyundai does all the above minus the badge. As a result the Genesis is
my new favorite car for 2014.

New, entry-level V6 manual and auto Models added to Line-up
FOUNTAIN VALLEY, Calif., July 16, 2014 – Hyundai’s popular Genesis
Coupe continues to enhance its appeal in the fiercely-competitive sport
coupe segment. For 2015, Genesis Coupe makes its 348-horspower, 3.8-liter
direct-injected V6 standard, with new base 3.8-liter V6 manual and
automatic transmission models added to its line-up. The high-performance V6
engine in every Genesis Coupe ensures its buyer maximum powertrain
performance at a very affordable price point. This critical enhancement
ensures Genesis Coupe continues to carry its recognized market success as a
rear-drive, high-output performance sport coupe for everyday enthusiasts.
2015 Genesis Highlights
direct-injected 3.8-liter V6 engine standard
--New base 3.8L V6 manual and automatic transmission models added
--4-cylinder powertrain no longer available
--3.8 Grand Touring model no longer available
-LED daytime running lights standard
-3.8 R-Spec model adds the following standard equipment:
--Proximity key with push-button start

AGGRESSIVE DESIGN TO MATCH DYNAMIC PERFORMANCE
The Genesis Coupe strikes a menacing demeanor, with an aggressively
designed front fascia, grille, headlights, LED daytime running lights, fog
lights and hood with heat extractor cues. The side view reveals aggressive
18- and 19-inch alloy wheel designs with deep dimensional sculpting.
Finally, the rear taillights provide a visual spark via premium LED
illumination. Traditional rear-drive sport coupe proportions are clearly
evident, with a long wheelbase and short front and rear overhangs producing
a classic wedge-like profile. Genesis Coupe’s bodyside character line is
an innovative “Z”-shaped design that integrates seamlessly with a
unique, drop-beltline rear window graphic. Heated outside mirrors, fog
lights, and LED daytime running lights are standard on all Genesis Coupes.
Genesis Coupe’s arching roofline and tapering greenhouse highlight the
exterior profile and emphasize the car’s broad shoulders and wide stance.
To complete the aggressive sports car look, the depth between the fenders
and the greenhouse is maximized. Large openings in the front fascia allow
for optimal engine breathing coupled with an aggressive look. Dual
asymmetrical Exhaust tips integrated
with the blackout rear diffuser treatment complete the performance message
from the rear.
For 2015, the high-performance 3.8-liter, direct-injected V6 engine is
standard in all Genesis Coupes. This proven powerplant offers sophisticated
engine technologies, with direct-injection and dual continuously variable
The 3.8-liter Lambda DOHC V6 engine produces 348 peak horsepower at 6,400 RPM,
with peak torque of 295 lb.-ft. at 5,100 RPM on premium fuel. In addition,
Lambda-engine anti-knock technology gives this V6 the versatility to run on
regular fuel whenever required. This direct-injected engine will easily
propel the Genesis Coupe from zero to 60 mph in the lower five-second range
on its way to an impressive 149-mph electronically-limited top speed. The
Lambda V6 intake system also employs an intake sound induction pipe into
the cabin to ensure this engine’s aural character matches its visceral
To further broaden the power band, the 3.8-liter engine uses Dual
Continuously Variable Valve Timing (Dual CVVT) and a Variable Intake System
(VIS) that helps cylinders breathe most efficiently at both low and high
RPM. The combination of high-pressure, precisely-metered direct injection
with efficient cylinder breathing results in outstanding throttle response
and off-the-line acceleration coupled with remarkable fuel efficiency. The
V6 engine uses an alloy block and cylinder heads for lighter weight and
thermal efficiency and features durable, quiet timing chains with no
All these technologies serve to give Genesis Coupe 3.8 an impressive
power-to-weight ratio of only 10.1:1, significantly lower than the more
expensive Infiniti Q60 and BMW 435i.

Redline Review: 2015 Hyundai Genesis 3.8
After seven years on the market, Hyundai proves it can build a value
oriented luxury sedan that has the potential to run with the best from
Germany, America, and Japan. For generation two, the 2015 Genesis now
features more distinctive styling, nearly autonomous driving technology,
and updated refinement bringing it closer to its direct rivals. Those of
you who wants a luxury sedan that doesn't follow the norm should stop by
your local Hyundai dealership, but those looking for more sportier dynamics
may find some competing vehicles more to your liking.
