I thought you'd like a look at this nicely restored 1965 Buick Skylark.
It's sporting a completely new interior by Year One and it's powered by the

Garage Find: 1964 Mercury Comet Cyclone 289 4 Speed Part 2
1964 Cyclone - super solid original CA car down to the black plates. One
owner for 46 years. 289, 4 speed, buckets, console, tach, power steering.
Last driven 30 years ago. Still has "wood" steering wheel and matching
shift knob. We added some fresh gas and a new battery as we brought this
little gem back to life. Up next: A run thru the gears test drive - stay
1965 Mercury Comet Caliente 2 dr H/T
65 Comet Caliente - my third. Picked her up after an earthquake and just
before hurricane Irene hit area (Beaver Falls, PA). 289 4v (C code not and
A) with hydraulic version of Ford's Hi Po cam. Runs excellent and gets
about 20 mpg on hi test. I'm a happy camper. If you have a 65 Caliente,
PLEASE post your vids. Few people even know what these beautiful cars are,
especially now that Mercury is dead. All indications are this is indeed a
19k mile Comet. Torque boxes, cowl & floors really are the originals. I'm
betting so is the rest of the interior except for the carpeting, side
mirros, and the headliner. I'm VERY, VERY happy with this Comet. Now if I
can only get the Lokar cable linkage installed to work the primaries the
whole way. Can't wait to see what this 289 has been hiding.
