2013 Mercedes-Benz G550 Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/mercedes-benz/g-class/2013/ The Mercedes G-Class
has always been one of the most sought after luxury SUVs in the world.
Known for their solid build, powerful engines, and top notch luxury
amenities; these vehicles are lusted after by millions of automotive
enthusiasts. Too bad the price means that this luxury SUV is usually
reserved for the rich. The entry price for the 2013 Mercedes G550 starts at
The Mercedes-Benz G-Wagon is one of the most beautiful and capable cars
that Mercedes has ever made. And it wasn't made as a rich man's luxury
vehicle to show off your prowess or off-road capability. Instead the
G-Wagon was made 33 years ago for the military in German. Now this 2013
Mercedes G550 has a powerful engine and full luxurious interior but
unfortunately a large price tag which means most enthusiasts will never
have the pleasure of owning one.
The engine is a 5.5 liter V-8 that produces 388 horsepower and 391 lb-ft. of
torque. The transmission is a 7-speed automatic. And if you have the cash
you can get the AMG model which costs $30k more but gives you a twin turbocharged version of this engine Boosting power to 544 HP and 560 TQ. The
G550 is a solid car packed with all the bells and whistles one could want;
the result is a 5578 lb. curb weight. So unfortunately due to the heavy
weight and powerful engine, fuel economy ratings suffer netting 12 MPG in
the city and 15 MPG on the highway.
The interior of this 2013 Mercedes-Benz G550 has the Designo kit meaning it
has the upper echelon of nice refined leather. The rest of the interior has
been remodeled. The seats have a number of controls to adjust to your
liking. The freestanding LCD screen displays tons of info for hands free
driving while the Harmon/Kardon LOGIC7 Surround Sound System plays

2013 Land Rover Range Rover Test Drive & Luxury SUV Video Review
http://www.autobytel.com/land-rover/range-rover/2013/ The Range Rover was
first launched way back in 1970 and now for the 2013 model year there is an
all new and totally redesigned 4th generation SUV. The overall look has
still remained throughout the years while also evolving with the times. And
this new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover looks as amazing as ever. Land Rover
states this vehicle has a couple of different design elements that include:
Luxury, Sustainability, Relevant Functionality and Desirability. Underneath
the all the luxury lives the soul of one of the most capable off-road
vehicles ever produced for the mass car market. But with the high price tag
many of these luxury SUVs will never step foot off the pavement. The base
price on a new 2013 Land Rover Range Rover is $82,650 with the top of the
line Supercharged Plus model with the Autobiography Package starting at
For over 40 years Land Rover has been producing the Range Rover and over
that time this vehicle has become the ultimate luxury SUV. This new 4th
generation Range Rover is bold, beautiful, and powerful. This high end
vehicle drives so well you would be hard pressed to find anything wrong
with it. The Range Rover offers a great powerplant, luxurious ride, and all
the features and options you would expect from the leader in luxury SUVs.
The 2013 Range Rover has been completely redesigned inside and out. For
starters they really simplified the instrument panel. Now there are a lot
fewer buttons and the infotainment system is much more intuitive. The
typical driver will not be going off road for the most part, but it is nice
to know they can. Those capabilities are at your fingertips when driving
the 2013 Range Rover.
Under the hood lives a 5.0 liter V-8 engine pushing 375 horsepower and 375 lb-ft. of
torque through an 8-speed automatic. Step up to the Supercharged models and
power jumps to 510 horsepower and 461 lb-ft. of
torque. Fuel economy is 14 MPG in the city and 20 MPG on the highway. Land
Rover has also improved the stability and braking dynamics of this Range
Rover. In fact everything about this luxury SUV is all new but the most
exciting fact is that the weight has been reduced by 700 pounds. Because of
this you will be getting better fuel economy and better performance.
The Terrain Response System is an all new system for the Range Rover and
has several modes of operation. You can choose between a Snow/Gravel
setting, a Mud and Ruts setting, a Sand setting, and the most aggressive
off-road setting is the Rock Crawl Mode. There is no question the 2013
Range Rover is one of the most sophisticated and technologically advanced
SUVs on the market.
There are 4 different trims levels when it comes to the 2013 Land Rover
Range Rover. Choose from the Base model, the HSE model, the Supercharged
model, and the Autobiography model. The latter model swaps out the seating
for 5 and replaces the rear bench seat with 2 Captain's Chairs for maximum
comfort. The Autobiography model is the most luxurious SUV you can buy.
Land Rover has really done a great job with this model. The 2013 Range
Rover is just a brilliant vehicle. If you can afford this luxury SUV do
yourself a favor and go buy one.

1993 Mersedes S 500 SE Review,Start Up, Engine, and In Depth Tour
For more in depth reviews check my channel:
Filmed by: Tomaž Kožar Jesenice
The 2010 Mercedes-Benz S-Class ranks 2 out of 7 Super Luxury Cars. This
ranking is based on our analysis of 90 published reviews and test drives of
the Mercedes-Benz S-Class, and our analysis of reliability and safety data.
The flagship sedan of the world's oldest automaker, the exemplary 2010
Mercedes-Benz S-Class shows off everything that Mercedes engineers can do.
It offers a level of luxury even some similarly-priced cars can't match,
and safety systems no other automaker builds. Much of the same can be said,
however, of its less-expensive E-Class sibling.
The Mercedes-Benz S-Class is the most luxurious and exclusive sedan built
by the legendary engineers at Mercedes-Benz. It is a well-balanced luxury
cruiser, offering refined road manners, sumptuous luxury and high-end
technology packaged within an old-world ambiance that many rivals can't
approach. Available with a powerful V8 or an astonishing twin-turbo V12, it is as fast as many sports cars. With
exceptional Napa leather upholstery and a revised technology package
including an updated navigation system that stores Zagat reviews of
thousands of restaurants and hotels, it coddles its occupants like few cars
ever have. Its unique, optional Drive Dynamic seats, which actually change
shape to cradle passengers in response to the car's movements, are
something no rival can match.
For 2010, the S-Class also debuts some extraordinary new safety systems,
such as Mercedes' new, heavily-advertised Attention Assist driver
drowsiness monitor, which attempts to detect and alert a tiring driver.
Reviewers continue to be frustrated with the car's complex COMAND system,
which makes adjusting everything from the radio station to the firmness of
the seats a complicated process involving a series of menus on the
navigation screen. A few also say that a new steering system, found only on
the S550, is disappointing, feeling overBoosted.
Other Cars to Consider
The Super Luxury Car class has seen several significant new entries in
recent years, and the S-Class is no longer an obvious favorite. Buyers
interested in an opulent interior can save thousands, while retaining a
similar level of comfort, in the Lexus LS. Buyers looking for raw
performance can out-corner the S-Class in BMW's redesigned 7-Series -- or,
for a similar price, can buy what many consider the world's fastest
four-door sedan, the all-new Porsche Panamera.
S-Class buyers might also pause to notice that, one step down on the price
ladder, the all-new Mercedes-Benz E-Class sedan carries much of the same
appeal, and all of the same safety systems, for a lower cost.
Those who have always seen a Mercedes-Benz S-Class as the epitome of luxury
motoring won't be disappointed with the 2010 edition. This is still a
superb car in every way. But those who aren't attached to the idea of a
Mercedes might want to consider a few competitors before settling on this
Mercedes-Benz S-Class: The Details
A new, hybrid edition of the S-Class is available for 2010. The S400 hybrid
differs from conventionally-powered S-Class sedans in many ways. We review
it separately. A pair of high-performance AMG models, the S63 and S65, also
get separate reviews.
For 2010, Mercedes has made subtle exterior changes to the lights and side
mirrors of the S-Class, added considerable new safety equipment and
slightly altered the mix of options available on each trim level.
