He won the final round with an 11.17 against a close 11.21 from Kevin Barrett. Onward to the season finals in Phoenix next month! (UPDATE: He clinched the PRA Pro Gas National Championship in 2011 because of this race)

First fire up after engine assembly. The Phantom Ghia is a 9 second 1/4 mile, 1958 VW Karmann Ghia door slammer. Built by Robert Cook or Cooker's V-Dubs in Clear Spring, Maryland and owned and driven by Rob Schultz. ****UPDATE**** this car now resides in France under new ownership.
Bug O Rama 2013 Phoenix
A fun video I threw together very quickly from some footage shot at the Phoenix Bug O Rama at Firebird Raceway. This is one of the final events to be shown at the famous Firebird Raceway before it is closed down due to changing hands.
There is talks of it opening up in about a year or more, if at all.
This video is a self made video for fun, I have no affiliation with the Bug O Rama events. I'm simply a fan who happens to be a photographer/videographer.
