Marchettino's Abarth 500 : Tunnel Explosions and Loud Acceleration !
I had a fantastic fun doing the road from Cannes to Monaco with my friend Marchettino, in his Abarth 500, with some mods... Basically, it's more powerfull and a lot lot lot louder. In town or in tunnels (there are so many between the two cities, it's so great) it makes a fantastic loud sound and even huge explosions when he shifts up ! Arriving in Monaco, he droped me at the Casino Square, where I met Shmee150... He and his Abarth left in a great (loud as you'll se) "good bye". Thanks again Marco ! Enjoy !

Fiat 126 mit Hayabusa Motor - extrem schnell
Ein Fiat 126 abarth mit hayabusa motor. diese kleine rakete wog nur etwa 500 kg und hatte eine Leistung von 180Ps . Damit erreichte der kleine Flitzer spitzenleistungen und Beschleunigungswerte von 0-100 in 4 Sekunden. Der kleine fiat 126 abarth ist damit bestens geeignet um ferrari f360 oder porsche 911 das fürchten zu lehren. Mit seinem extrem starken Motor und dem wenigen gewicht schlägt er auf engen Straßen nahezu alle Supersportwägen dieser Welt. Damit sollte sich Weder Chevrolet Corvette noch ein Dodge Charger mit 1000Ps messen. Dieses kleine Biest kann je nach Strecke auch Bugatty Veyron angst einjagen und Lamborghini Aventador auseinandernehmen. Auch ein Murcielago sollte es erst gar nicht probieren. Von kleineren Fahrzeugen wie einem Golf Gti mk5 oder einem bmw e36 m3 brauchen wir erst gar nicht reden. eher mini mit hayabusa motoren oder ariel atom sowie radical sr8 und sr4 sind hierbei die gegner dieses extremen rennwagens. slalom macht spaß und das ist das wichtigste, aber mit dem fiat 126 war es auch kein problem bei hill climb bzw bergrennen veranstaltungen erfolgreich teilzunehmen. auch auf der Rundstrecke kann der kleine Giftzwerg ordentlich Druck machen. Hayabusa Mini lässt grüßen! Tim Schrick hätte bestimmt seine Freude an dem Auto hier ;-) dieses video wird alle freuen die mit einem fiat punto evo abarth oder einem fiat punto abarth oder einem fiat 500 zur zeit fahren. unsere fiat freunde werden ihre freude haben an diesem Video.

Fiat 500 with Subaru engine
See: http://www.zcars.org.uk This is a Fiat 500 modified by ZCars Ltd to the specification of a customer from Greece. The design brief was to fix his 500 in an interesting way so that it would have more useable power to enable him to drive his family around town in comfort. Whilst he was tempted to have the Suzuki Hayabusa conversion ZCars also produce he decided that he wanted to keep the rear seats. As that is where the 200bhp motorcycle would be installed that option was ruled out! The engine is an EA81 Subaru engine (1800cc flat 4) which is quite an old engine although still widely used as an aviation engine we are told. This engine was used due to its simplicity, power and torque characteristics and not least its size and shape. This was mated to the original gearbox with clutch and drive shafts up rated. Also up-rated were the brakes with discs all around and the suspension at the front. The transverse leaf spring was removed and adjustable alloy dampers were used with coil springs. A new front subframe was fitted to allow the use of wishbone suspension arms. Obviously as it is a water cooled engine, radiators were required. This was inserted into the front boot space (trunk) and water pipes run underneath the car. A new stainless steel Exhaust finished the conversion and new wheels and tyres were fitted as an optional extra.
