1969 AMC AMX S/S Pete's Patriot
This '69 AMX was the 1969 Division V Champion in Super Stock (SS/D) drag racing. It was owned and sponsored by Peterson Motor Company in Kearney, Nebraska. This run took place at Kearney Raceway Park during Kearney's week-long cruise night event.

390 4spd, square port heads, 3:15 gears and yes those rear tires are 295 50 15 goodyears on mopar police wheels and they fit perfect! If anyone wants to know the details on my engine just ask!

Me racing my red white & blue American Motors Drag Car at Ohio Valley Raceway in Louisville KY. AMC was the last of the big four erea with car companys before they went under and were purchased by Chrysler Corp. I hope the remaining big three can pull out of there lastest trouble it would be a shame to loose anymore.
