Classic 1960"s Rally Mini Cooper S
Paddy Hopkirk (GB), Timo Mäkinen (FI) and Rauno Aaltonen (FI) made history with their Rally Monte Carlo victories in 1964, 1965 and 1967. The trio laid the foundation for the long tradition of the MINI brand in international motorsport. The Mini Cooper S was the car to beat in the 1960s.

You can hear the tyres squeal off camera as the Mini tackels the hairpin, and even as it ascends the hill under power and changes gear. This is what Mini Coopers are meant to be like!

For those wanting creature comforts a new Mini Deluxe eight piece red carpet set has been fitted and the heater is still connected. WHEELS, TYRES & BRAKES Light weight 5X10" GB Gold Alloy wheels shod with new Yokohama Advan 32R road rally tyres. Phenomenal braking power is provided by front 7.5" Mini Cooper S set-up with drilled Tarox and EBC fast road pads and rear drums. Aeroquip stainless hoses throughout with a brake bias valve adjusted from the cabin. HISTORY FILE A huge file with eye watering invoices from Mini Sport Ltd and Mini Spares go some way in revealing the vast expense and attention to detail lavished on this unique vehicle. This alone highlights the total cost of the project far exceeds the asking price! Based on a sound Mini 1000 City E the project commenced in November 2007 and the vehicle was transformed over a period of five years into a beautiful Works Replica. 1974 Austin Mini Cooper S - Mark III
I thought you'd like a look at this 1974 Austin Mini Cooper S. These made great rally cars at one time, because of their excellent handling and durability. This particular car is looking sharp in that red with white stripes..and even the Union Jack painted on the roof. It's powered by the 1.3 liter four cylinder fuel-injected engine, backed by a four-speed manual trans. It also has working Air Conditioning and it has the Rally Fog lights added up front.
