Classic 1960"s Rally Mini Cooper S
Paddy Hopkirk (GB), Timo Mäkinen (FI) and Rauno Aaltonen (FI) made history with their Rally Monte Carlo victories in 1964, 1965 and 1967. The trio laid the foundation for the long tradition of the MINI brand in international motorsport. The Mini Cooper S was the car to beat in the 1960s.
Mini Cooper S, Oliver's Mount hill climb.
An impressive hill climb run by a Morris Mini Cooper S at Oliver's Mount in Scarborough on the 30th April 2011. You can hear the tyres squeal off camera as the Mini tackels the hairpin, and even as it ascends the hill under power and changes gear. This is what Mini Coopers are meant to be like!

1974 Austin Mini Cooper S - Mark III
I thought you'd like a look at this 1974 Austin Mini Cooper S. These made great rally cars at one time, because of their excellent handling and durability. This particular car is looking sharp in that red with white stripes..and even the Union Jack painted on the roof. It's powered by the 1.3 liter four cylinder fuel-injected engine, backed by a four-speed manual trans. It also has working Air Conditioning and it has the Rally Fog lights added up front. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for watching!
