Billy Boat Performance Exhaust line of performance Exhaust for the Cadillac CTS-V incorporates the latest in resonance control technology, B&B's proprietary Purge Resonance Technology or PRT as it is known. Completely reengineered the PRT system allows you to have a mild Exhaust note at cruising speeds yet a forceful note on aggressive driving. The complex yet simple design gives you the increased sound and performance you are looking for with its straight through design on moderate to hard acceleration and then the unique purge chambers cancel out the unwanted interior noise during low rpm cruising speeds.
2.5" vs 3" Exhaust
The development team here at Billy Boat Performance Exhaust did extensive testing on the complete Exhaust system for the Cadillac CTS-V, looking at the both the 2.5" Exhaust and the 3" Exhaust. We found the best performance and sound to be with the 3" PRT muffler system, and then using a 2.5" front pipe and mid pipe arrangement. This allows us maintain low restriction for quick acceleration, while nearly eliminating the in cabin resonation created by the automatic transmission of the new CTS-V. The smaller front pipes allows us to gradually increasing the Exhaust velocity throughout the system with smaller diameter front pipes and larger mufflers for greater horsepower and torque. These results have been confirmed by the chassis Dyno and by our customers.

Cadillac CTS-V Wheelspin Acceleration !
I saw this car a few days ago. A friend of mine (Spottergijs) asked the
owner if he could give some nice V8 sound. Afterwards that the owner
accelerated with a lovely wheelspin and loud V8 noise. Please rate, comment

The 2013 Cadillac CTS-V is powered by a supercharged 6.2-liter LSA V8 that
produces 556 hp and 551 pound-feet of torque. Our test car was equipped
with a six-speed automatic transmission which is a no-cost option.
EPA-estimated fuel economy is 14 mpg city/19 mpg highway and 16 mpg
combined with the manual and 12/18/14 mpg with the automatic.

hearts of many enthusiasts. And so we took extra special care when
designing our Cadillac CTS-V Coupe performance Exhaust system by Billy Boat. In fact, Billy
Boat Performance Exhaust has been
setting the pace for high performance stainless steel Exhaust systems for 20 years now. B&B applies
its deep racing heritage to craft one of the finest Exhaust systems available. Continuing in that
tradition B&B has recently introduced a line of Exhaust systems for the new 2011 Cadillac CTS-V
CNC mandrel bent T304 stainless steel tubing is used throughout the entire
system for a precise fit. The system uses a hand fabricated x-pipe that
helps balance the Exhaust pulses for
better scavenging and a cleaner Exhaust note.
B&B has designed a muffler specifically for the CTS-V Coupe using their
proprietary Purge Resonance Technology or PRT. Hand fabricated out of T304
stainless steel the muffler offers increased Exhaust flow and emits a nice deep muscle car
bark at idle, acceleration and cruising speeds while all but eliminating
the unwanted in-cabin, low frequency resonation.
For aesthetics Billy Boat Performance Exhaust incorporated a new 5" oval double wall
tips to give the V a mean yet distinguishing look missing from the factory.
The tips are fully polished to a mirror like finish and the rest of the
system is finished in the new Billy Boat brush finish. As with all Billy
Boat Performance Exhaust systems it is
backed with a limited LIFETIME warranty.

to superior lightweight T6-6061 aluminum materials which has resulted in
higher power which can't be measured on a Dyno. All in all, you can hear
and feel the power!!!
