1965 Dodge A990 Factory-Built Drag Racer
This car is for sale on consignment. Price: $200,000. For more details, go
to www.showyourauto.com or call (847) 838-3749 and talk to Mr. Krook.
This is one of two factory-built '65 Dodge A990's left out of the 47 that
were built. It was sold through Mr. Norm's Grand Spaulding Dodge. The A990
was a series of "delete" options that turned an ordinary Coronet 2-door
sedan into a Hemi-powered, lightweight, purpose-built drag racer.
The current owner is the second. This car has all its original body panels
and interior appointments, including thinner stamped front fenders, thinner
window glass, back seat delete, front bucket seats from that year's Dodge
Van and a grille that blocks out two of the original quad headlamps. Around
back, the battery is in the trunk, and steel plates replace the backup
lights. It's been resprayed once in 1987, and that's it.
But you're not worried about all that. You want to hear that 426 roar.
Well, I'll see what I can do.... ;)

First run on 65 Hemi Coronet at the strip
My first run on the hemi Coronet at South Georgia Motorsports Park Raceway
test and tune session during the Southern Mopar Nats over Memorial Day
weekend. First time back racing since 1973. Had a blast with it.
Reaction times not to bad for an old fart... .547 and a .638. Bogged the
car out of the hole and missed third gear on the first run.....

1967 Dodge Coronet R/T 440 V8 Four-Speed Muscle Car
I thought you'd like a look at this freshly restored 1967 Dodge Coronet RT.
This is a true RT, that is powered by it's original, numbers matching, 440
Cubic Inch 375 HP V8. All that power is being sent through a four-speed
manual, back to a Dana 60 rear. This car has only covered 6,xxx miles since
the restoration and it shows. The paint is slick, the interior looks like
new, and the engine compartment is nicely detailed. This car is ready to
go. I hope you find it interesting...thanks for taking a look!
