Would anyone like me to start making Vlogs of what's going on with my car?
Let me know! Here's a Vlog of how the installation of the Cobb Catback Exhaust went.

06 Subaru WRX M2 Exhaust Install
In this video i will demonstrate how to install an aftermarket Exhaust on a 2006 Subaru Impreza WRX. M2
Cat-Back Exhaust was purchased on
Amazon.com for ~$200. Additionally, you will need longer Exhaust hangers in order for the Exhaust tip to clear the bumper cover.
This video also demos the noise this Exhaust produces which includes a cold start,
rev up and interior noise.
-Two jack stands

-14mm 3/8 short or deep socket
-17mm 3/8 short or deep socket

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 Straight Pipe Exhaust
Straight pipe in place of the muffler on my WJ. Stock 4.0 with stock
intake/headers/cat/tailpipe. Has a nice sound but is loud and drones
inside at 1900-2400 rpm, which the video doesn't capture. Highway cruising
is nice and quiet at 55-60 mph, but the interstate at 70 mph/2100 rpm would
drive me crazy. I'll almost certainly end up with a Flowmaster 50 Delta
Flow to mellow it out a little. I posted another video of a Cherokee I
used to own where I did the same thing, but the catalytic converter was
much larger and the end result was much more mellow than this.
UPDATE: This setup was fun for about 1 week, then was just completely
annoying and I hated driving it. It was an unrefined sound, it really
howled at 2000 rpm to the point where it hurt your ears, and I also lost
torque on the bottom end. I just installed a Dynomax cat-back with their
Super turbo muffler and absolutely LOVE
IT. Flows better than stock, moved my torque curve back down, has a great
looking tailpipe, is barely louder than stock and really has a great tone
to it. I've got an initial video posted and will post another in a couple
months after the muffler has really broken in.
Volkswagen TDI - 3 inch Exhaust Install
This is a step-by-step instructional video showing how I installed a 3
inch, stainless steel, straight pipe Exhaust system from KermaTDI on my 2002
Volkswagen Jetta TDI. Can be purchased from KermaTDI's website for a steep
700 dollars. However it is made of quality construction & will last a long
2014 Audi RS4 Insane Straight Pipes Exhaust Sound!
I went for a ride in a friend's brand new Audi RS4 Avant B8 fitted with a
custom straight pipes Exhaust, the
sound was just unbelievable! First you get to hear a series of brutal revs
from the 4.2L V8 then we go for a drive in the tunnels, I've never heard
such an insane sound like that from an Audi!
Subaru R-STi - JDM vs USDM: A Friendly Rivalry -- /TUNED
In the US, we never got the best Subaru of them all, the first generation
WRX coupe, getting stuck with the fun-but-not-fast 2.5RS version. One of
the more popular upgrades for those cars is the "R-STi" drivetrain swap. In
the season premiere of Tuned, we look at two approaches: the USDM
drivetrain swap, and the JDM drivetrain swap. Which is better? You decide.

2015 Subaru WRX STI: The Daily Driver Rally Car Returns! - Ignition Ep. 107
On this episode of Ignition, Carlos Lago tests the latest generation of the
perennial rally car favorite: The 2015 Subaru WRX STI. Much like the new
WRX, this STI has an entirely new and significantly stiffer body structure,
but unlike the WRX, it still uses the same 305 horsepower 2.5-liter turbocharged flat-four that's powered the car
since 2008. Our introduction to the car occurs at the press launch at Mazda
Raceway Laguna Seca. From there, we test the STI to see the performance
improvements and drive it on one of our favorite mountain roads. How does
the new STI stack up? Stay tuned to find out.
Ignition appears every other Monday on the Motor Trend youtube channel.
