subaru impreza exhaust
this is my 95 subaru impreza(non turbo) it has a 2 1/4 from cat back and a 3.5 inch tip i was just wondering what would make it sound better and what to put on it or just your thoughts all comments welcome

Jeep Grand Cherokee 4.0 Straight Pipe Exhaust
Straight pipe in place of the muffler on my WJ. Stock 4.0 with stock intake/headers/cat/tailpipe. Has a nice sound but is loud and drones inside at 1900-2400 rpm, which the video doesn't capture. Highway cruising is nice and quiet at 55-60 mph, but the interstate at 70 mph/2100 rpm would drive me crazy. I'll almost certainly end up with a Flowmaster 50 Delta Flow to mellow it out a little. I posted another video of a Cherokee I used to own where I did the same thing, but the catalytic converter was much larger and the end result was much more mellow than this.
UPDATE: This setup was fun for about 1 week, then was just completely annoying and I hated driving it. It was an unrefined sound, it really howled at 2000 rpm to the point where it hurt your ears, and I also lost torque on the bottom end. I just installed a Dynomax cat-back with their Super turbo muffler and absolutely LOVE IT. Flows better than stock, moved my torque curve back down, has a great looking tailpipe, is barely louder than stock and really has a great tone to it. I've got an initial video posted and will post another in a couple months after the muffler has really broken in.

WRX straight pipe & spool
Just a quick video, dump pipe and mid pipe are standard and all cats are intact, simply a muffler delete. In it's place, 3 inch straight pipe. Only after sound at the moment, no significant gain in performance.
