'murdering out' your car or hub caps) and here at Hubcaps.com, it is always our goal to help you achieve any look you want for your vehicle. With our expertise and video camera, let us show you exactly how to accomplish this look with ease! Using just some steel wool and black satin paint, your black wheel covers are just a few steps away. As with all our videos, we urge you to be cautious and follow each step we provide in the article that accompanies this video so that you get the best results possible! Despite the modern equipment we use at our facilities, painting your hub caps black is easy to perform in your own garage, it just takes a little bit of time and patience and of course, the right kind of paint and a few items you probably already have in your home. After you wash and thoroughly dry your wheel cover or center caps, its simple! Basically, you rub the steel wool over the surface of the hub cap a little bit, just enough to remove any fine scratches (be sure NOT to remove any of the existing paint). After that, just spray paint the hubcap black, skip the clear coat and you're done! If you have any questions about painting your hubcaps black, as always you are free to give our Toll Free number a call and speak to one of our friendly team members. Buyer Beware: Before you buy Center Caps! - Hubcaps.com
http://www.hubcaps.org/ Replacing center caps can be frustrating to say the least but never fear because Hubcaps.com is here to help! It is our goal to help our customers with whatever they need and in this business, center caps are always a problem. By watching this short instructional video, you won't ever have to deal with the headache of finding the correct center caps again, we promise! Losing a center cap is an issue for a lot of reasons, not only do you have to replace it but it is very easy to order the wrong one. This is due to the fact that car manufacturers were gifted with a sick sense of humor that led them to create a huge variety of caps, that all look EXACTLY ALIKE! The only way to determine which one is yours is to physically pull the cap off with a small screwdriver and find the part numbers on the back. We are here to tell you that if you don't do this, you are taking the big CHANCE that the center cap will not fit your vehicle. Without the part number, buying your wheel cap becomes a game of trial and error, that will not be fun. Instead of going to all of that trouble, we created this video for our customers to bestow a little bit of valuable knowledge that will allow them to order more efficiently. Should you have any questions, concerns or comments, we are always very interested in hearing them! Just call the toll free number listed below and one of our team members will be happy to help. Thank you again! For more detailed information please visit http://www.hubcaps.org/videos/center-caps.html

How to Remove or Take Off Plastic Hub Caps - Hubcaps.com
http://www.hubcaps.org/ Knowing how to remove or take off your hub caps can really help you from having to buy another wheel cover! In this video, we will show you the correct way to remove plastic hubcaps, which accounts for most hubcaps on newer model vehicles. As we showed you in a previous video, there are three types of wheel covers: pop on, bolt on and screw on, and which one you have will tell you a great deal about the right way to remove them from your car or truck. The main difference between these types of hub caps is how they are held onto the wheel: it can be by clips (pop on), real metal lug nuts (bolt on) or fake plastic lug nuts (screw on). By watching this video, you are taking that step toward being not only self-sufficient but also your neighborhood's hubcap removal expert! As always, please be very careful when attempting any of the how-to tricks shown in our videos, especially these. Unlike our other videos, removing hub caps can be a little trickier and can take a little more work and time but by no means is it hard to learn! By mastering these removal techniques, you won't be replacing your hubcaps any time soon because of improper removal or installation. We hope that this video will help you when you want to un-install your wheelcovers and if you have any questions about what kind of cap is on your vehicle, feel free to contact us! Our staff is always standing by to help you with whatever you need, all you have to do is call us at the toll free 800-826-5880. How to Install Plastic Hub Caps & Center Caps - Hubcaps.com
http://www.hubcaps.org/ Installing your hubcaps is the most important thing to know if you want to keep them on! Almost 100% of missing hub caps are due to improper installation and whether the fault lies with you or your mechanic, we can teach you the right way to install your wheel covers and center caps! After watching our video, you won't have to keep replacing your missing hub caps and spending unnecessary money. With this particular task, there are some tools required, one you might already have and one that our company sells to make hubcap installation simple for everyone. Depending on the type of center caps you have on your vehicle, of which there are three, you will need a lug wrench to tighten the bolts of your hubcap or you can use our hubcap tool to get the job done correctly. As shown in the video, there are three types of hubcaps: bolt on, pop on and screw on. The simplest hubcap to install is the pop on and will only require our special hubcap tool or a soft rubber mallet to tap the center caps into place. With the other two options, a lug wrench is needed to tighten the lug nuts on your wheel cover so that there is no danger of them falling off while you're driving. Although this is a very easy process that only takes a few minutes to learn to do properly, we still want to encourage everyone out there watching to be careful and follow all of our instructions completely to avoid any kind of injury. It is also important to remember that it is up to you to make sure that no one uses an impact wrench to install your hub caps, ever. The reason for this is that using that tool when installing hubcaps can strip the threading on the lug nuts and will cause you to lose it the very next time you hit a little bump in the road. As always, if anyone has any questions, our staff is here to help you, just call our toll free number provided at the bottom. Thank you again! Installing Aftermarket Wheel Covers Tips
A how to on installing aftermarket Wheel Covers. I purchased these wheel replacement covers from Walmart but there are lots of other generic and aftermarket brands out there that are similar. After I lost a few of these wheels covers, I though I share my experiences and how to do it right. I found these just as well as the original OEM wheels covers if properly installed. Seems like I have been having a few of these loss after the repair shop put them back incorrectly. See video on my lessons learned.

Wheel center cap removal the easy way!
You don't have to take all 4 wheels of your car to pop out the center caps... For less than $10 bucks, you can remove all 4 in about 5 minutes... Once removed, simply peel the Velcro tape of your caps. The tapes adhesive comes of easy since it hasn't cured yet. No damage too to your caps! TIP: If adhesive is left behind, simply just use the existing tape you pulled off to dab and lift the remaining sections of adhesive.

Buyer Beware: Before you buy Used Hub Caps & center caps - Hubcaps.com
http://www.hubcaps.org/ Don't let the words 'used hubcaps' scare you off! Thank you for watching another automotive video, and this one in particular is dear to our hearts because it addresses a common concern among customers who contact us. Most people have a negative image in their heads when they see the word 'used' and with Hubcaps.com, there is no need to fear! The most important thing to remember when buying any type of used goods is that there is a range that applies. Think of a brand new car, the second the tires hit the street outside of the dealership, that vehicle is considered used. With quite a bit of our inventory, the factory original take-offs that we carry are technically thought of as 'used' but it does not mean that they are dirty or damaged or of an inferior quality at all! It just means that they didn't come straight from the factory to your car. Think of us as the ultimate middleman because that used stigma means that our prices are MUCH more reasonable than the dealer. To us, 'used hub cap' is a very flexible word because despite the damage a used center cap has sustained, we have an awesome restoration crew that can work wonders! There are customers who place their order and put the hubcap on their vehicle and find out that it is used after that wheel cover has already blended seamlessly with their other 'new' caps. In fact, if we didn't believe in honesty, we wouldn't even have to mention the word 'used' because with a lot of our items, it's truly impossible to tell the difference. Every hubcap that we send out is inspected for quality after being refurbished so we can be certain that nothing reaches any of you in less than perfect condition. Rest assured that if a used hubcap from us is going to have hairline scratches or any other kind of mark despite being restored (say a hubcap from a classic car), YOU WILL be told. Thank you so much for watching and we hope this video has changed your mind about our products being 'used'. For questions, comments or concerns, or to place an order, call our toll free number (800) 826-5880. Have a great day! Plastidip Taillight Tint Stencil Diy
Here are the answers to most of your questions.... 1. Will it come off? No it's not permanent but YES it is resilient. I had it on my lights for months with out it getting scratched or peeling. 2. Is this regular or smoke Plastidip It is regular. I do say this in the video, however I should have put it in the description. Sorry for the confusion. 3. Is that Forza Music? What kind of car is that? Yes it is! :) Makes for great ambient music. Also, it's a BMW 335xi. It's my winter car. (thus the whole "it's cold right now" in the video) 4. Yes it IS illegal. At least where I live. HOWEVER, no I didn't get pulled over once for it. I got pulled over for speeding and the cop didn't even mention it. I really think it just depends on the cop that is behind you and how he feels about it. 5. isn't it too dark? Aren't you worried about people not being able to see your lights when you brake? etc. No, in the video they might look KIND OF dim, but in person the light output was barely changed. HOWEVER, that doesn't mean that it wont be on your car. It depends on what kind of bulbs you have, HOW MANY COATS YOU DID, and just in general how nice your lights are. Either way, it was not an issue with me and not once did I get the impression that someone couldn't see them. Plastidip IS very transparent if you do a few light coats... you literally JUST watched proof that it is... lol 6. Why didn't you use film? or why didn't you use "night shade"? First off, I didn't use night shade because until I read these comments I hadn't ever heard of it. Second, I didn't use film because the other sets of film that i've used either didn't fit right, were a pain to take off, peeled up on the edges, and were much more expensive than this DIY. 7. Why did you use masking tape instead of electrical tape, duct tape etc. Because masking tape leaves ZERO residue. Duct tape and electrical tape can both leave lots of residue. As I stated in the Video though, you can always use flexible nylon/ straight line tape I believe for round edges. 8. Why didn't you just mask everything BUT the clear part then blah blah blah... really?... mask the part that I WANTED to paint?.... A. that would have taken forever B. it would have used WAY more paint. C. I would NEVER mask everything then use a razor on my tail lights.... thats just silly. 9. What was the point of the "press and seal" The point of that was to show you another way that I had seen it done. I then went on to say how I do not reccomend it cause you would get garbage results. 10. How many coats did you do? If you watch the video I technically did 1 coat. it was a thick coat but I did that because I knew I wasn't going to be laying it on to the point that it was not transparent. you will have to be the judge on how many coats/passes you do. Good news is, if you put on too much, or too little, no worries! It's plastidip and it'll come right off! Than do it again! 11. Could you do this on your headlights? I guess you could... although I could see that being a much easier way to get pulled over. But really, it's worth a try. Worst case is you tell the cop that pulls you over that you didn't realize it was illegal and ask him if he'll give you the opportunity to peel it off on the spot. 12. Do you feel the edges with your hands? You can if you rub your hand over it, but it's very faint. And no it did not make it peel. Really at the end of the day, Like I said in the video. Its not everyones style. It's non permanent, it's SUPER cheap, and most of all THIS MAINLY WAS A TEST AND A GUIDE ON HOW TO STENCIL YOUR TAIL LIGHTS not REALLY how to plastidip your lights. So use whatever product you want. I just used regular dip cause I had some lying around from doing window trim. And like most mods to your car, you're doing this at your own discretion, so be safe and use common sense. if you "black out" your lights, you may be running the risk of accident. So only go to the point that they are still safe. Thanks for all the thumbs up, and all the kind comments. Hopefully this answered most of your questions.
