How to Replace Axle Subaru
"It specifically says that unless you are fitting new wheel bearings to the
car that you should never break loose the axel nut while the weight of the
car is on the wheel and tire. Damage to the wheel bearing is likely. The
procedure they recommend is to jack the car up remove the wheel then have
someone hold the brake firmly while you break the nut loose from the axel."
~Special thanks to 1audionote for the tip~
In this video I show how to remove the driver, and passenger side axles on
a Subaru. This covers a large majority of the Subaru's out there including
the Legacy Outback, and more.

I, Jordan, assume no liability for anything you choose to do to your car,
before, or after watching one of my videos, including this one. All DIY
repairs, or modifications, you perform to your car are made at your own
risk. Sometimes, even if you've done everything the right way, you can
destroy, or damage, a piece, or part. You must understand this; part of
doing a repair, and/or modification is messing up sometimes. Also, if for
some reason, I do give incorrect instructions, and something breaks because
you followed my instructions, I still will not reimburse, or pay, in any
way, for whatever cost that may be incurred.

Discussion about this Video:
I feel like I should have made this video a while ago but the opportunity
never came up. Since I had this RL in my shop that had a check engine
light AND an ABS light I thought it was a perfect opportunity to put this
video together. I get asked all the time about my 'special tool' and it's
really nothing more than a Honda 2 pin connector with the input wires
soldered together. These connectors might be harder to find than you think
but if you run across a junk honda and one of these is on the harness grab
it. Even if you don't have the tool a paper clip or piece of wire will do
the exact same thing so don't sweat it if you don't have the tool because
shorting the connector is all you need to do.
I hope you find this video helpful.

1993 Subaru Loyale story
This is my first car. My baby.
I took her in for a routine timing belt change. They put it on wrong.
Failed to turn the camshaft 180 degrees after installing the first of two
belts. I waited 4 weeks for this process, then was told that my engine was
busted (low compression in three cylinders) It would cost over a grand to
fix, but they were willing to "take a look and see what they could do"
I lost my ability to drive, resulting in loss of my catering abilities and
loss of a job. I was set back potential thousands of what could of been
hard earned dollars. I had no other choice but to set her up until I could
afford the proper work that needed to be done. Little did I know that all
that needed to be done was putting the timing belt on proper. My parent's
next door neighbor heard the story and had it done in two hours! She runs
We took this to the highest power of CT customer satisfaction, and the 4
month battle to get our money back resulted in complete disregard for what
they had failed to do. They chose not to refund my money so this is my
This is not the only story. This is My story. I have heard many of which
other's beloved cars have either been falsely "fixed" or not fixed at all.
I want to hear your stories. I want to hear everyone of them! Please. If
you have a story relating to this, or have ever been jipped by our Huge

This video was recorded and edited by my father. All work done to the car,

is running perfectly again.
300+ HP Subaru Loyale Wagon
A 1990 Subaru Loyale wagon with a tuned up EJ255 from a 2007 WRX.
Drivetrain sourced from a Subaru XT.
The bad part is that this engine was only in the car temporarily. It was
soon installed into a much newer Subaru, which means no more videos. I
really wish I had been able to get more footage!
This car belonged to my Subaru enthusiast buddy, I film many different
vehicles as well as my own.
