Traded my s10 for this and thought id do a little video of how it is now
that i just got it, if i decide to keep it ill post more of the progress.
3rd Gen Camaro Build
A (lotta) work in progress. I started this project to swap a 191cubic inch
V6 to a 350 V8 (along with performance parts, and swapping & upgrading the
transmission) in 2009. (see modifications list below.) These are pictures
and videos as I progressed and the very first engine start and test drive.
I applied primer to protect the metal as I knew I would have to put the
project on hold, which is where it has been since. Plan to start again by
gutting & redoing the interior here in 2012.

This is my 1985 Camaro
in which I like to refer to it as the IROC-383. This car is currently for
sale and has nearly a completely new drivetrain including a 383 Stroker
built to push an estimated 420HP, TCI 350 Street Fighter Transmission and

Stock 3rd Gen Camaros (170hp TBI vs 230hp TPI vs 245hp TPI)
Not all 3rd Gen models were created equal... they ranged in horsepower from 170hp on up
to 245hp. From the economy version 170hp L03 TBI 5.0 to the hot version
230hp LB9 5.0 TPI manual 5-speed model with G92 option and the 245hp L98
5.7 TPI with G92 option. This is just to open a few eyes out there on the
many different options and engines these cars had back in the late-'80s and

Last 3rd gen Camaro
This 1992 Chevrolet Camaro Z28 is last of many
categories: there is really a neat story behing the car to keep workers
from rioting on the last day at Van Nuys plant, on the last day of work one
of the workers would win the last 3rd gen Camaro made in 1992 it was the
end of the greatest generation of Camaro.
