In the fall of 1962 when Chevrolet introduced the 10th anniversary Corvette that became known as the 'Split Window Coupe', Oklahoma high schooler Michael Brown knew he had to have one. He also knew it probably wouldn't happen fast. He was right about that. It took 22 years, but he finally acquired one. And though he never planned it that way, it became the cornerstone of a collection of Vettes and classic Chevys in Texas.
