Mustang Steering Wheel Replacement Installation 1965-1966
http://www.cjponyparts.com/steering-wheel-reproduction-correct-for-alternat ors-1965-1966/p/STW2B/ These beautiful reproduction steering wheels are made with injected molded plastic just like the originals and are available in all the correct factory colors. Bill uses this replacement in our Weekend Wrench project car, and begins by removing the original horn ring. To remove, simply press in on the center and turn. You'll then remove the bold that holds the original wheel to the column. If the wheel will not come off by pulling, you'll need to use a steering wheel puller. Then, insert the new wheel on the steering column and secure with the retaining nut. For the horn ring, install the original spring and then line up the three tabs with the three openings on the new wheel. Push flat and turn to the right, locking the horn ring in place. Installation takes up to half an hour. my 1970 mach 1 Mustang built June 10 1970. totaled out in the mid 80's parted out and abandond in a junk yard. almost sent to the crusher in 2007 but i saved it just in time and restored it. If i can restore this one dont any one try to tell me that there Mustang cant be restored
