Well, thanks to Central Florida rain this is all the footage I was able to put together from this day! Some people have asked me from my TTG on race gas video...why race gas? Read below...
When you're looking to make more power, one of the best ways to do it is to raise your Boost and timing to higher levels--but to do this, you need a higher octane fuel.
In other words, high octane fuel doesn't necessarily make power on it's own---it allows you to run more Boost and timing that you can with pump gas and that's what makes the power.
When you're running pump gas, you're very limited because if you try to run too much timing, you'll detonate, which, of course, results in the death of your engine.
The solution? Race fuel and race fuel tuning. By adjusting your timing curve for 100 octane gas (which can be done by many companies like Cobb, Superchips, HP Tuners, Hondata, APR, etc...) you can reach your car's true power potential safely. Part of the reason Shell URT100 is a great race fuel for street cars that see street and track time is that it's 100% street legal in all 50 states. It contains no lead, so it's safe even if you still have catalytic converters or O2 sensors (unlike VP fuels).
There are other 100 octane fuels available, but this one is the most consistent, and because it can be shipped directly to you in sealed 5 gallon pails or 55 gallon drums, you don't have to worry about old gas or fuel quality---a huge problem when you buy race gas at the pump. It's often been sitting for a long time, gets contaminated and in extreme cases can be even worse than pump gas.
Because it's street legal, you can drive to the track on Shell URT100, make your passes, switch to your 93 octane tune, top off with 93 octane at the gas station and drive home---it mixes safely and completely with pump gas. This way, you aren't scrambling at the track to switch tunes and make sure you're running 100% race gas. You can run all of the 93 octane out, fill it with 100 and race knowing you're protected against detonation.
Hopefully this has taught you something new! My Underground Racing Twin turbo Gallardo is next up, but on the Shell URT Advanced race fuel! A 116 octane unleaded race gas...gonna be INSANE! Can't wait for that this week.

Well, now that you've "driven" my TT Gallardo, Superleggera, R8, and Amy's
Audi R8 I thought it'd be fun to let you get behind the wheel of the
Lamborghini Murcielago as well! The car is much heavier and bulkier to
drive than the Gallardo, but still loads of fun. Personally, I'd prefer it
if I could only choose one. Simply Put: The Gallardo is a great daily
driver. The Murcielago is a weekend car. You could get in the Gallardo and
drive across the country no problem, the Murcielago, well, you might be a
bit worn after an hour or two ;) At the end of the day though, nothing
touches my heart like the Murcie. The Lambo doors, V12 roar, and overall
presence put it in a league of its own. I thought it'd be funny to include
the Walgreens stop in there. Gives you a better illusion of going for a
drive and running errands, right? Haha. Mainly just wanted to show what
it's like to get in and out with the scissor doors as a lot of people ask.

READ: So stock M6s all Dyno around 410RWHP (DynoJet numbers) in stock form.
Since the Dyno-cell is
not finished, we ran all of these tests one after the other on a MustangDyno.
With JUST the custom straight-pipe Exhaust, the car put down 422RWHP which is
corrected to 447.03 RWHP! That's approximately 37RWHP +/- from just the Exhaust.
Then, the custom intake was installed. Now, keep in mind, NONE of the
tuning has been done, nor have the heat shields been put in place (so the
car was running about 15° over what it did with the stock airboxes) but it
still picked up an extra (Mustang) 13RWHP. It did 435RWHP which
corrects to 461RWHP. Once tuning is done and everything is dialed in,
there's a real shot at 490-500RWHP and it sounds amazing!

The 1,100 HP Switzer "Ultimate Street Edition" GTR - /TUNED
It wasn't long ago that driving a 1000+ horsepower car came with
many sacrifices. These were race or show cars, not to be used daily. Enter
the Switzer "Ultimate Street" GTR. On pump gas, it makes 1,000 horsepower with virtually no
downside. On race gas, it makes 1,100 horsepower. And the owner of
this particular GTR uses it as his daily driver to commute to work. Is
enough to get to the office? We'll find out.
**Update** 0-60: 2.5s, 1/4 Mile: 9.4 @ 150, Standing Mile 208 mph.
