Rebuilt 305 Small Block Chevy FOR SALE
I just rebuilt this 305ci Small Block Chevy out of a 1984 chevy 1/2 ton pickup truck. This motor is for sale I am asking $750. Price is negotiable. The engine was completely disassembled and all parts where cleaned. I replaced the rear main seals, main bearings, rod bearings, oil pan gasket, piston rings, timing set, head gaskets, valve stem seals, valve cover gasket, carburetor, Exhaust manifolds (with headers), intake manifold, water pump, fuel pump, thermostat, and a couple of other things but thats most of the major stuff. THE ENGINE TEST STAND AND RADIATOR DO NOT COME WITH THE ENGINE. I am only selling the engine with carb, headers, and starter, and so on. Firing up our first sbc 350 rebuild
This is the first start up of our first engine rebuild. My brother and I basically rebuilt this small block 350 ourselves. We aren't all that experienced with rebuilding engines so we were a bit nervous.
It has an RV cam and just headers (no mufflers at the moment)

Motor: Chevy 350, 4 bolt main, .30 over,
Left head: 350 head, Right head: Chevy 305.
History: Came from a local junk yard, all bearing were fried, rings shot. Oil vally was painted a pretty gold (old racer trick to make the oil flow better : Didn't work)
Last owner just frankenstein it together.
Goal: needed to fire-up and runs for a few secs.

Its finally drivable. More videos to come showing the power gain. I'll be making a 0-60 and some burnouts after my Edelbrock carb is rebuilt and the trans is tuned correctly. I'm basically babying it right now, but so far its doing great! even in 100 degree weather!!
