This is a friend's show winning 1969 Dodge Dart GT. This car was restored years ago and sounded great as it is pulled it out a tech's bay. Motivation comes from a Mopar Performance 360 Crate Motor, 727 turbo Shift auto trans with 3200 rpm stall converter, and 3:91 posi rear axle.

This show winning 1969 Dodge Dart GT belongs to a friend who was having the

My 1969 Dodge Dart GT
My 1969 Dodge Dart GT from when I had bought it since now when I am still
68 Dart 340 4 Speed Run
My 1968 Dart after I transformed it from a slant 6 auto to a car with a
1968 340 that I built myself, 4 speed manual trans., and an 8.75, with 3:91
ratio limited slip diff. In the beginning, the first car you see pass by
is a COP! I waited a few seconds for him to get down the road a ways
before I took off. Sorry about the poor sound quality from the camera.
SLANT 6 Mopar or No Car!
Mopars and very attractive women.....Mopars Kicking ASS! What more can you
If you like what you hear, come and visit me at CDBaby!
In case anyone is curious, yes, I've owned tons of Mopar products! There
is a SRT4 in my driveway right now. I've had Coronet R/T's, Challenger RT,
Demon's, 300's, SRT8's, I love em all! And I have no problem with other
cool Musclecars. I even own a Buick with a V6 that is fairly
quick......However....I loves me Mother Mopar!
I'm back in the old school! I have a "NEW" 70 Coronet R/T! Burnt
Orange/White interior numbers matching, bla bla bla bla!!! Will post pics
of it in my new Mopar song. Yeah, I'm doing another one, yeah I'm corny!
Actually 2 tunes. One, I penned back in the mid 80's called Red Light. It
was about my 69 R/T.

Over the years, we've seen some nicely restored Darts. Vanguard Motor Sales
in Plymouth, Michigan is proud to debut one of the most spectacularly
restored Darts we've ever seen! The previous owner purchased the car in
2005 and went through the process of fixing, cleaning and replacing
everything. There are only 500 miles on the car since the rebuild.
Let's start with the exterior. '67-'69 Darts have always had a purposeful
look, and the '67 is the cleanest of all with no side marker lights, a
cleaner front grille and uncluttered taillights. The beautiful Hemi Orange
paint was done in 2005, and looks near perfect today. Both bumpers were
re-chromed in 2006, so you can imagine the way they shine. All of the
window molding was replaced in 2011 and the glass looks brand new. It sure
is pretty but you'd be crazy to tangle with this bad boy on the street!
Lift the hood of this Dart and you'll find a 340 cubic inch 4 barrel out of
a 1971 Plymouth Barracuda. An electric ignition gets her fired up and fresh
headers with electric bypass were also included in the rebuild. The 4 speed
transmission, out of the same 1971 Barracuda as the engine, does not
disappoint. It all ends up with a stock Mopar 3:90 gear rear end and 2 ½"
stainless steel Exhaust with electric
outlets, which sound amazing opened or closed.
Inside, the newly upholstered black bucket seats, door panels, trim and
dash looks right at home. This is a cool car to just sit in and look
around. New and re-chromed shiny stuff abounds while a single aftermarket
tachometer sits on the dash. Neat stuff!
Throw the car on a lift and take in the details. There are all new
bushings, suspension shocks, front disc and rear drum brakes. The
undercarriage and trunk are both super solid. Show or shine this is one
heck of a car!
If we had one car in inventory right now that is the perfect combination of
show/cruise and hold for the long-term, this is it. This is one of the
finest restored Darts on the planet, with all of the right stuff. Don't let
this one get away! Call Tom Today! 248-974-9513

With a jumping bass and off-beat syncopation, this is straight from

as longtime friends, while the melody changes hands from guitar to organ to
electric piano. 011
