BEST BURNOUT EVER! SUMMERNATS GUINNESS WORLD RECORD BURNOUT!
Summernats 26 broke a Guinness World Record for the most amount of cars in
simultaneous burnout on January 4, 2013 in Canberra, Australia. When the
massive blanket of smoke eventually cleared, Chris Sheedy from Guinness
World Records told the 10,000 plus crowd that exactly 69 cars had managed
to complete a 30 second burnout. Sixty nine. That's a 'Nats kind of number.
Drivers came from all across Australia to fry their tyres together in this
historic event, some traveling thousands of kilometres from Western
Australian and Northern Queensland to take part in the rare feat.
138 tyres x 30 seconds x over 35,000 horsepower = 1 world record.
Thank you to the drivers, staff and sponsors for making this incredible

MUNTED - Crazy Rotary Powered Gemini at Supernats 2013
With crazy loud engines and high rpms rotary motors are almost made for
burnouts. Check out this supercharged rotor in this Holden Gemini. It
sounds amazing and does a pretty decent burnout as well. In fact it made it
into the top ten at Supernats with this effort.
Chevy Z28 twin turbo V8 Camaro - Dandy Engines
Drago Nikodijevic's Chevy Z28 Camaro is yet another tough turbocharged V8 radial car to frequent the
drag strip of late at the APSA Pro Street Shootout series. After a testing
day Drago was able to finish runner up in Sydney and also run a personal
best pass. The Camaro
features a 406ci 23-degree small block Chev V8 Boosted by twin 76mm Precision turbochargers.
TOYRNR at Supernats 2012
TOYRNR - LS1 + T51R powered Torana showing flexing it's muscle on the
burnout pad at the Supernats. Unfortunately the officials didnt like his
circle work and kicked him off .... Too harsh in my opinion :)
Mazda RX3 tags the wall - MRHELI
King of the 2-step, Frank 'Mr Heli' Canistra hasn't raced the RX3 in some 2
years. The 13B rotary turbo powered
Mazda sedan ran strong all day going into the low 8s but got loose late in
the night. Frank did a great job of steering out of what could have been a
heavier hit and the good news is that he walked away unhurt.
