Nathan Wratislaw like Trans ams and i have over 45 of them this one is not perfect it needs the obivious things that you can see but this is a Great car ata Gret price Youll be sure to love this one..This car is very fast ....Someone put $3000 plus more likely closer to $5000 Into Upgraes on the Motor, Transmission, Intae, Exaust And Suspension. This car Moves It still looks good but as you watch the video you will see it has No headliner needs a piece on drivers door panel. has a few scuffs etc. there are seatcovers on the factory GTA racing sats and they need redone they are torn etc my guy will redo them for $550 t-tops have a crack or 2 and the windshield has a crack. Pretty common when you beef one up this much. The car is pretty much all here including the t-top bags in the bac and the space saver spare. has the Edelbrock dual Throttle bodies and a 3" or so Dynamax exaust coupled with the suspension this car is set up to GO!! Its the kind of car tha looks good you can drive around and fix up as you go these are Great cars and you will have a great investment car that is a muscke car and can get you low 20's on gas milage Great cars and this one is a Great price i could cut it up and sell the parts for more than im asking. 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350 restored to stock condition
A quick video of my 1987 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350. Of over 88,000 Firebirds produced in '87 only 2,389 Formula 350 models were made. (2.7% of total production models)
Most people opted for the Trans-Am model if acquiring the L98 350 engine, so the Formula 350 is the most rare Firebird model from 1987 as most Formulas were optioned with the 305 engine.
I have all Pontiac Historical Society (PRS) documentation including copies of the original invoice and window sticker.
Brian's Firebird Running An 8.80 1/4 Mile Pass
Some minor tweaking got us an 8.80 1/4 mile pass later in the day with a 200 shot. Still has plenty left in it with the car making enough mph for an 8.5x pass.
Shot with my JVC Everio HM200
1987 Trans Am 355ci TPI first drive...
This is a short vid of my 87 Trans Am after I finally got the engine running right. Before it would not idle but I figured out I had the valve spring rocker arms tightened too tight. It is a 355ci small block chevy with crappy truck heads along with a LT1 cam and a Tuned Port Injection intake manifold. Exhaust is Flowmaster, but I do not know what series. When the car is near the phone/camera, you can hear the loud hissing coming from the engine sucking in all that air! This is the first drive since I removed the 305 so I am still getting used to the pedal with power! The smoke is from the injectors running a bit rich since I had the fuel pressure turned up a bit high. This is also a good vid to see my sequential tailights!
1992 Camaro RS 305 TBI 1/8th mile
My buddies stock 305 TBI 1992 Camaro RS goes 11.1 @ 64mph in the 1/8th mile at Skyview Drags. It's a good baseline for the future. After this winter, those numbers should be a wee bit different.
305 tpi.
Tpi 305 first start after restauration. Video done to show the engine to friends on the net.
Trans Am WS6 vs 502BB Chevelle 11.97 1/4 mile
Stock Ls1 w/ auto trans custom tune takes a 502BB Chevelle. Gotcha! with my quiet little street car. Can't wait to see what the cam and converter does for it.
