Karmann Ghia - Sound Insulation Install
I was planning to install carpet today, started by installing the
insulation and was suckered into completing the heating system... Bad
news, no carpet got installed, good news, the duct work is complete and a
few oddball items have been checked off the punch list.

Karmann Ghia - First Fire of the 1915 Engine
I spent the entire day finalizing wiring, fuel delivery, cables and other
odds and ends so I could get the ghia fired up for the first time with the
new motor. LET ME TELL YOU... IT WAS WORTH EVERY SECOND!!!
VW Karmann Ghia - TMI Carpet Kit Install - Part 1
I made HUGE progress on the interior of the Karmann Ghia today. I got the
heater channel "Y"s welded in, I got the kick panels made, I got the
windlace (s) made, I got the windlace retainers striped and painted, I got
the rear seat area covered in vinyl and I got a fair amount of the carpet
kit from TMI installed.

Karmann Ghia - Floor Pan Sound Insulation and Dash Painting
Prepping the shell for it's return onto the chassis. The pans got a
dynamat alternative. Peel and Seal duct insulation from Frost King. The
difference is huge. Also, the heater control cables get replaced, the
heater channels get a coat of epoxy and the dash face gets painted.

This is sons gift to a father on 50th anniversary. While collecting mostly
young-timer cars, Dainius Matijošaitis decided to make an old-timer
present to his father - fully restored, neat 1966 VW Karmann Ghia Coupe.

1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia Engine Start
First time starting up the 2333 cc engine (91x84mm) that I installed in my
wife's freshly restored 1971 Volkswagen Karmann Ghia convertible. Yes, I
know my coil is installed upside-down. The after-market wire harness was
installed with too little slack to reach a downward-pointing coil. This is
