Abandoned Old Truck Breathes New Life.
This 1965 Ford F100 was abandoned on the property I bought about 10 years
ago.. We didn't think it would run or anything, as it was pretty rough
looking, just sitting under some trees.. It appears to have never been
tampered with, and it is all there,. It's a short bed, short wheelbase
fleetside Custom Cab, and is worth saving.. We were surprised the engine
purrs like a kitten, and doesn't smoke and.. We found out the previous
owner was an old man (he died) that changed oil in all his vehicles every
1,000 miles, religiously.. The shifter needs work, and there are no brakes,
but we will take care of that at a later date.

GM 216 Straight Six Blowing Up & Catching on Fire
To all the angry viewers out there, please feel free to post your
ridiculous comments below and thanks for watching! Blowing up the engine
was really fun, and I would't think twice about doing it again. For all the
other viewers who enjoyed the video, please post your awesome comments
below and thanks for watching!
The engine had not run for a number of years and was scrapyard bound so
after sanding down the points and giving it some fuel it ran wide open for
about 10-12 minutes before it threw some rods, the oil caught on fire, and
it ran out of fuel.

Vintage Hot Rod Straight 6 [S3 Ep.11-1]
Everybody knows that the engine is a central key component to ANY Hot Rod
project. But is a V8 the only way to go? NO WAY!! Stacey shows you why. He
takes a vintage straight six engine that has been sleeping in a crate for
almost 40 years and he puts on the right pieces. He shows you why the
straight six was a force to be reckoned with in the early days of hot
rodding. After that, Stacey jumps into the tips and tricks of how to paint
your own true Kandy paint job. If you are into vintage Hot Rods, Kandy
paint, and multi-carbs? You don't need to go on a diet... you just need to
Ford 300 Inline 6 Rebuild Part 3
Me rambleing. Got the pistons in, having issues with the stud on the #4
main cap under the oil pump not clearing the oil pump. Got the wrong
engine mounts, 1970 motor mounts wont fit on a 1992 engine block. The HEI
distributor instructions tell you not to run a high vol oil pump with the
distributor. Yep I'm having fun!
Overhead Cam at 14K RPM
This video shows an operational cutaway of a BMW S1000RR — a 193HP
superbike — bumping against its 14,200RPM redline. A cam and valvetrain
at 118 cycles per second is an amazing sight (and sound)
