After you replaced worn brake pads and their wear sensor on your e46, just set the to to ignition on and wait approx. 20 sec. The indicating light should come off automatically. Important - leave the drivers door open while reseting the warning light!

How to reset the brake pad warning light after the pads and sensor have been replaced. The sensor is made to wear through to trip the light so it must be replaced before resetting. This procdure is the same on the BMW 3 Series E46, BMW 5 Series E39, BMW 7 Series E38, BMW X5 E53, and BMW X3 E83 on non CBS vehicles.

How to clear Check Engine Light and Fault Codes BMW
The method of clearing engine light needs to pass inspection. If you have check engine light turning on after the car runs for several miles. Park to nearest Inspection station, and after clearing Check Engine Light, bring in for inspection. This is good only for car manufactured before 1996 BMW. It also reset all the fault code BMW.

BMW e46 airbag light / lamp. Solved (Easy DIY)
BMW e46 (323ci in this case) have à problem with the airbag, its a sensor under the drivers seat that causes the airbag light to switch on. That means your airbag probably is not working. Instead of beeing annoyed, I've found a solution that makes that lamp to switch of. You have probably searched a lot on the web about this problem but ended up with fake videos or products you need to buy. There is no need for that. Do it your self instead.
