Rare 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible Fuel-Injected 347 V8 315HP

I thought you'd like a look at this extremely rare 1957 Pontiac Bonneville Convertible. 1957 was the first year for the Bonneville and it was only offered as a convertible. When it was introduced, the Bonneville was the fastest Pontiac ever produced. This Bonneville is number 116 of the only 630 produced in 1957. This is probably the finest restored example ever offered for sale. It has been treated to a correct frame-off/rotisserie restoration. Every part of this car is 100% factory correct and numbers matching. Every component was restored to as new or better condition. Most of the chrome was NOS and it all, the interior and exterior was show chrome plated. The Bonneville is painted in Kenya Ivory with a Tartan red interior. Boasts a fuel injected 347 300+hp( approximately 315 HP) V8, Hydra-Matic automatic transmission, Wonderbar AM radio, a deluxe ivory steering wheel, a padded dash, a clock, cowl vent, chrome wheel discs, and whitewall tires. It has the total power group including a power-operated convertible top, a power antenna, power steering, power brakes, power windows, and an eight-way power-operated seat. This Bonneville was judged 396 out of 400 at the Pontiac Oakland Club Nationals and has been awarded in every show it's been shown at. The 1957 Bonneville is a very rare car. This Bonneville is one of the best of its kind in the world - it is pristine museum quality. Thanks for taking a look! 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda 340 Six-Pack Pistol Grip
I thought you'd like a look at this beautifully restored 1970 Plymouth AAR Cuda. It's powered by the famous 340 Six-pack backed by the four-speed manual with a pistol grip shifter. This car was originally designed to battle it out in the Trans Am racing series. They used the lighter 340 for better weight balance and handling. This particular car is one of only about 1200 that were fitted with the manual trans, so it's definitely rare. This is a true, numbers matching car that has been correctly restored. It comes with the build sheet and all the necessary body tags to prove it's originality. I hope you find it interesting, thanks for checking it out! 132642 / 1957 Pontiac Bonneville
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/6oheg7a Named in honor of the salt flats where speed records have been set for decades, this fuel injected 1957 Pontiac is one of the rarest and most desirable 50s collector cars ever produced. Fresh out of a complete frame off restoration in which not a penny was spared, this Pontiac is decidedly one of the most impressive cars I've ever seen. The smooth Harley Earl designed body panels are completely free of any waves or blemishes and the cars straight and narrow panel gaps are likely much better than what came from the factory 54 years ago. On top of the clean body, familiar Kenya Ivory paint, worn by all 1957 Bonnevilles, displays an excellent shine. And on the sides of the car, Bonneville Red 'splashes' complete a look that was shared by most of the 630 cars produced. Under the hood of this '57 Bonneville you'll find an original 347 cubic inch fuel injected V8 with a 10.25 to 1 compression ratio and, according to Pontiac, 'over 300 horsepower'. On top of the motor, an original Rochester fuel injection system receives cool air from a correct black "Pontiac" decaled air cleaner that is piped to the front of the car and covered in steel mesh. In front of the air cleaner, a correctly tagged Delco generator is spun by a new V-belt, and behind the fuel injection system a correct points distributor sends spark through correct black plug wires. On the left side of the motor, factory correct standard power steering sits behind a correct black radiator which sends and receives water through correct hoses with correct clamps. Hanging from the cars correctly marked Ivory fire wall is a correct glass Cadillac decaled reservoir that holds windshield washer fluid and a correct heater blower that pipes warm air to the interior through vents in the cars kick panels. Behind this Pontiac's fuel injected 347 V8 is an original Strato Flight Hydra-Matic 4-speed automatic transmission that sends power to a correctly rebuilt rear end. Braking is handled by standard equipment power drum brakes that bring the car to a stop in a surprisingly short distance, and turning is aided by standard equipment power steering that both improves handling and makes slow speed navigation a lot more manageable in this long and heavy car. Above the suspension, the cars floor pans are exceptionally solid and display a fresh coat of red undercoating, and all of the small details such as new stainless fuel lines new brake hoses, a new stainless fuel tank and a factory correct replacement Exhaust system have been installed to a very high standard. Putting the power to the pavement is four Bonneville Red 14 inch factory steel wheels that feature stainless tri-blade wheel covers and 8.50-14 wide white wall tires. Loaded with every option in the book except air conditioning, this Bonneville's interior features a perfect mix of outrageous style and typical American luxury. The front eight-way power seat is covered in Tartan Red and Ivory leather and features chrome adjustment buttons, new lap belts and a complimentary color design to the pristine rear leather seat. In front of the power seat, a Bonneville Red dash is capped by a great looking Tartan Red pad and finished by mirror-like stainless lower panels that house chrome knobs for the cars accessories. In front of the driver, a bright stainless instrument bezel houses a horizontal speedometer over round chrome trimmed gauges for the cars vitals, controls for the cars heater, a standard Wonderbar AM radio and a standard continuous motion clock. Below the dash, like-new red carpet sits below chrome trimmed pedals that feature awesome "Brake" and "Power" lettering and features no wear and tear at all. In front of the driver, a standard equipment deluxe steering wheel features a chrome horn ring inside a marbled Ivory rim, and sits in front of a chrome column mounted gear selector, a chrome gear indicator and a chrome turn signal stalk. At the center of the steering wheel, stylized "Pontiac" script sits on a mesh-look backing below a "Power Steering" emblem that incorporates a traditional gold Pontiac indian head insignia. This investment grade 1957 Bonneville is one of the finest Pontiacs left on the planet.

132198 / 1957 Oldsmobile: Golden Rocket 88
For more information on this vehicle visit http://tinyurl.com/blcwa26 Don't be fooled by the large-by-huge chrome wheels it's wearing today, this particular '57 Golden Rocket 88 is an authentic J2 car, and is extensively and thoroughly restored to original condition from top to bottom. Our documents suggest that this is one of only four Golden Rocket 88 2-door sedans in existence with the J2 engine. The two-tone bodywork on this car is spectacularly done and looks especially striking in black and white with a red stripe in the chrome trim that separates the two halves. Bodywork is beautiful, with straight panels and excellent fit throughout, evidenced by the miles-deep reflections in the paint. The real story on this Olds is the J2 371 cubic inch engine under the hood. Fully rebuilt during the restoration, it runs like new and the passing of years has proven that these are some extremely durable engines. Detailing is first-rate too, from the 'Oldsmobile J2 Rocket" decals on the valve covers, to the correct 2-barrel carburetors, to the original power steering system that's fully functional. You'll note that this engine sports a trio of shorty air cleaners on the carbs, but the original dual oil-bath air cleaner is also included. The engine is backed by a 3-speed Hydramatic transmission, and drives the original rear end. Brakes were rebuilt to stock specifications, as was the suspension, although the car was given a subtle, aggressive look by tweaking the spring height slightly. The car wears a set of chrome Billet Specialties wheels, but the original 15-inch steel wheels and plain hubcaps are included. From the tri-tone seats with patented GM comfort weave cushions, to the positively breathtaking instrument cluster, this interior is new. The original radio has been upgraded to include an iPod interface. The trunk is sporting a custom carpet, but an original trunk mat is included. This Olds is fast, comfortable, luxurious, and about 2/3 the cost of a comparable Chevy. There are no irreversible modifications, and this car could be put back to 100% stock condition in an afternoon. Wide-Track: 1959 Bonneville - /BIG MUSCLE
Owner: • Chuck Cushner Slathered in Lamborghini orange paint and exuding a presence that is anything but subtle, this 1959 Bonneville is a car that represents a peak time in American automotive design. It was drafted before government mandates and regulations stifled imagination and creativity, and takes us back to an era when we still looked to the stars for inspiration. This is a car that will stop you dead in your tracks and make you truly long for the days when chrome was King, gas was a mere .25¢ per gallon, and where Elvis Presley was the greatest thing the public had ever heard.

Pontiac Banshee A Longer Look
The Banshee was a vision for what the Firebird could become. Of course, this concept car could never be built exactly, too low on the road and it wouldn't pass the safety and crash tests, but it was exciting. It demonstrated that the problem with GM cars didn't sit on the designers' shoulders. They were more than capable of dreaming up engaging and fun vehicles that would set imaginations on fire.

PONTIAC - The Glory Years! Part 2 of 5
(1956-93). Some great basic Pontiac history, along with the CARS and PEOPLE (Bunkie Knudsen, John Delorean, Jim Wangers, Pete Estes, etc) who made Pontiac great in those years. In 1956 Bunkie Knudsen was hired as Pontiac's General Manager. He was told by GM "Turn Pontiac around in 5 years or the division is gone". Within about a year he quickly assembled a great team. Knudsen was fortunate enough to pick up engineer John Delorean from Packard when that company closed, Delorean later became the father of the GTO and MANY Pontiac Innovations. Knudsen was also fortunate enough to lure a brilliant "Olds Rocket V8" engineer away from Oldsmobile---Pete Estes who helped the Pontiac V8 breath as well as it could.
