In-Car Targa Bambina 2009 with Mark Parsons and Cully Paterson in Neil Tolich's Perana Capri V8. This is stage 1 of a 2 day 17 stage event on tarmac roads just south of Auckland NZ. This first stage had just been resealed by the local council with chip seal hence the gravel noise.

Test Drive the 1974 Ford Capri V8!
Hi! This is Agent 8771's 1974 Ford Capri, featuring a high-output 302 V8 and Borg-Warner T5 transmission hooked to a Ford 9 inch positraction rear. This car originally had the wheezy Pinto 2000 cc engine and 4 speed trans, so it is much better now. A nice, original, rust-free unit brought up from the States to save it from the recyclers yard. Sweet vintage aluminum slot mags, nerf bars, and diamond-tuft package tray finish this Capri off in classic 70's style! Hope you like it as much as I do!

V8 Ford Capri...Launches off the line
A V8 Ford Capri launches from the start line of Stage 13 of the Tasmanian Tarmac Challenge Rally October 2008. Ford of South Africa assembled the Capri from 1970 to 1972 with a similar model range to the UK. No facelift models or RS variants were marketed in South Africa. About 500 Capris were converted by specialist Basil Green Motors to run the 302 Ford Windsor V8 engine. These models were known as the Capri Perana and were very successful in local touring car events, winning the 1970 South African championship and, in a different format, the 1971 championship as well. No Mk II and Mk III Capris were exported to, or built in South Africa.





Zakspeed Ford Turbo Capri
Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann. Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l Hubraum. In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen 2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf. Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad". Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei Zakspeed. onboard race1 at 05:35 onboard race 2 at 12:14





Capri 2.0S cosworth, 0-200 km/h and 100-230 km/h
This is my old capri 2.0S with cosworth 2.0 YB engine, t5 gearbox and atlas 3.44 + zf motorsport lsd rear axle. Earlier the engine gave 364 hp but after rebuild with wrc-pistons, long H-profile rods, ported head + bd16 cams it has not been Dynoed yet. Let´s see after turbo swap. The guitar player is my relative. His playing and this Deep Purple`s old song sounds good to me and hope you like it too.

Crash at 5400rpm most likely due bad conrod bearing. 2. Exhaust cut out valves as fitted to my Capri Perana Gunston race replica. The valves divert gases through twin silencing muffler boxes, or else with the valves shut the gases escape out through the side pipes
