Fiat 500C convertible 2014 review: http://bit.ly/1cTgUHL Subscribe to the Carbuyer YouTube channel: http://bit.ly/17k4fct Subscribe to Auto Express: http://subscribe.autoexpress.co.uk/cb On first sight of the Fiat 500, you could be forgiven for thinking you had stepped back in time... Fiat's recreation of its famous 1960s city car is so faithful; you really can park the new and old models next to each other and compare like for like. Following on from the massive success of the 500 hatchback, Fiat wasted no time in removing the roof to create the diminutive 500C cabriolet. It's not a true convertible, though, as only the centre section of the roof folds down, and the window frames on either side remain in place. The range of small and cheap to run petrol and diesel engines from the hatchback is carried over, and unsurprisingly the 500C drives similarly to the hatchback, with light and easy controls. The same cute, retro looks are a big part of the appeal, and a big selling point for the 500.

Fiat 500C TwinAir vs 500C Abarth review - Auto Express
Full review: http://www.autoexpress.co.uk/videos/featuresvideos/262693/fiat_500c_twinair _vs_500c_abarth.html#ixzz1DNJiUFef We pitch Fiat's new two-cylinder TwinAir against the pinnacle of the 500 range. The Abarth is faster in a straight line, but is it more fun to drive? Size matters. And for Fiat, it's a case of the smaller the better with its new TwinAir 900cc two-cylinder engine. On the outside, there's little to distinguish the two-cylinder Fiat from any other 500, but as soon as you turn the ignition key, it's clear that there's a very different powerplant under the bonnet.

Abarth 500C vs. Mini Roadster JCW vs. VW Golf Cabriolet vs. Audi A5 Convertible
Soft top convertibles get put to the test in our group test. Whats best: the 2+2 Audi A5 Convertible with 2.0T FSI power and Quattro all-wheel-drive? The Abarth 500C with its fiesty, 1.4 T-Jet engine and Fiat 500 underpinnings? The humble Volkswagen Golf Cabriolet 1.4TSI with its beautifully made Audi A3 platform? Or the agressive new Mini Roadster in its most powerful iteration - the John Cooper Works? We will compare these cars in all aspects from practicality to driving feel.
