4G Eclipse GT Dual Exhaust
This is a comparison video for those looking at going dual Exhaust (or single) on your 4G Eclipse GT. It compares the Exhaust sounds from revs and drive bys of a stock eclipse to that of one with a custom Dual Exhaust and Y pipe set up from Mad Hatter Muffler. The mufflers used in the build were Thunderbolt. They were chosen simply for price and looks. I wanted a 4.5" tip to fill up the space in the bumper and that they had a similar build and set up to the Magnaflow, but less expensive. This is in no way an endorsement for any type of system, just simply a comparison that I hope will help shed some light on the topic and perhaps help someone in choosing a set up for their car whatever brand or type they go with. Both cars in the video are 2006 GT's. Rear Bumper for the Dual Exhaust is a 2009 Eclipse GT Bumper that has the molded cut outs for the duals...

Mazdaspeed 3 vs. Eclipse GT
2007 Mazdaspeed 3 (245 whp): CP-E Catback, turboXS RFL BOV, gold Konig Feathers with Eagle GTs. 2008 Eclipse GT 4th gen (270 whp): Ripp Headers, Magnaflow Catback, Outlaw Intake Spacer, K&N Typhoon Intake, Eibach Sportline and BFG KDWs. Songs: Adrenaline - Crooked X Collapsing - Demon Hunter UPDATE: Mazdaspeed 3 now has Corksport SRI / TIP, Hypertech Tuning, SURE RMM, Denso ITV22 Spark Plugs. Soon to have CP-E Downpipe. Should be making close to 300 whp - no idea though. Need to do some runs with this Eclipse again to see the difference.
