The Electric Savage Flux HP from HPI Racing is a 1/8 Scale "Bashing/Racing" MONSTER Truck. Its tough design and rugged frame have been impressing me ever since I have seen them cruising the bashing fields in 2011. I must wait NO LONGER.. and I have unleashed the POWER!
In this film, I test out the 6S Lipo Battery capability and run 24 VOLTS to the HPI / Castle "BLUR" ESC and "TORK" 2200kV Brushless motor. I try this both ON and OFF ROAD to put the Hype to the test.. IT DOES NOT DISAPPOINT! Everything from INSANE Speed.. Standing Backflips, KILLER SUSPENSION and MONSTER POWER .. what more could I ask for!
I was running a 5450mah Lipo set, and the run time was approximately 45 Minutes before I blew the tire off of the thing! LOL! AWESOME :~) Totally my fault, and irresponsible RC'ing.. but DANG it made GOOD FILM!! Trusting the All Metal Geared Transmission, I was not afraid to go full throttle on the straight away.. but I could only get to 1/2 Trigger! IT WAS SOOO FAST! It also has a Reverse Gear.. for when you get into a bad situation. I like the FWD and RWD combined to give the rig a BEAST QUALITY.

Baja 5B - The Billet Beast, 4th run with the twin.
4th time out on the new motor, fitted new clutch with higher 8K stall spring and ditched the heavy alloy rims for some normal plastic ones, going pretty good now, just runs so damn hot!!! Short runs are the go so not to fully cook it....
It's getting better every drive!
HPI BAJA SS - OFF ROAD TIRES BASHING
Footage of my friend's BAJA 5b SS- 26cm3. We lately found a dry artificial lake which was perfect for testing the new tires. As you can see, these rear tires have much bigger studs than the original ones, more fun and control of the car. It's fast, fun, it has incredibly performing suspension, it goes everywhere despite being RWD, and is as noisy as a decent 125cc motorbike;
Some 40mph shots, drifts, doughnuts and cool jumps.
Notice some slight mods like shocks protection, plastic engine bay protection, some skid plates, however the mechanical parts and suspension are the original ones.

HPI Baja 5B BodySax/MTC twin cylinder 50.8cc 1st start. The Billet Beast!
After months and months of slowing re-building the Billet Beast with the new BodySax/MTC full billet 50.8cc twin cylinder it got it's 1st start today, fitted with custom built Olimat Engineering pipes it sounds great, part 2 vid to come soon - this thing has the angriest idle!!!!
