riding in the car when it stutters. when it hits, it pulls HARD. my rt is a little off, been 2 years since i was at the track. ill get back to my .013 or quicker r.t. i later found out that my fuel filter plugged again was the reason for laying over on the big end.

This is a 1970 AMC Hornet. This is an 12 second car in the quarter mile. It has gone 11.5 before however. Next season better camera and a more steady hand.

first day at the track after putting this car together. no tuning on the car yet. 8 months and lot of $$$$ later. time for some fine tuning now.
AMC Rambler American, Javelin Drag Race
After both building new engines for our cars in the last 12 months, and much smack talk (mainly from me), it was time for the BS to stop and the racing to start. The venue was the Kwinana Motorplex in Perth, Western Australia at the once-a-year Retro Drag Day. Great event where we managed to get four qualifying passes in before eliminations. This was both our second run for the day but the first time we had lined up against each other.

'79 amc spirit race car
this is my '79 amc spirit race car. its not COMPLETE yet, but its getting very close. has built amc 360, amc tf 904, ford 8.8 axle with 3.73 gears and lsd, b&m shifter, procomp electronic ignition, edelbrok intake, holley carb, headman headers, hoosier 28x9.50x15 slicks. little dark due to heavy storm cloud cover.

AMC 1980 AMX Spirit restoration
This is my 1980 AMC Spirit AMX. I finished restoring this car in July of 2002. This car has new paint,interior,transmission,3:73 rear and a built up 360 AMC engine producing close to 400 hp. I sold this car to finish my 86 Corvette. I miss it very much. This car had the Exhaust turned down towards the ground. It sounded real bassy like rolling thunder. This car was super fast. I took it to the 100th Rambler anniversary in Kenosha, WI in July 2002. With Group 19 AMC club. We also took it to Long Island, New York one summer, and I cruised my old neighborhood. Its sad to say that I sold it to a young man and the car is getting abused. I saw some chips and scratches on it. AMC made awesome engines.
