TJ's car. Top Secret Tuning out of Newark NJ allowed me to push their car
to over 605WHP on c16 on a stock bottom end. We also have a 500 whp Honda
S2000 and a 450+ whp Evo 8

Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ300 - Loheac Track Day 14 June 2010
This track day was organised by three Guernsey & Jersey businesses. A huge
selection of different marques attended and were taken out on track by
My car is an Mitsubishi Lancer Evolution X FQ 300 with FQ330/360 Exhaust, uprated springs and induction. The car
has just touched 10k and this was my first time on track with it. Taking
this on the track has redefined my views on the car, and already thought it
was superb ;)

Here is phase 1.5 of tuning our re-built Lancer Evolution X Gsr for the
late 2010 racing season. This build consisted of replacing our stock
appearing blouch dominator 2.0 turbo
(which ran a best pass of 11.4 @ 122mph) with an Extreme turbo Systems Billet T3 PT67-65 turbo Kit. We also removed the entire long block
out of the car to be custom built to our specs with a full Cosworth Bottom
End. We are now using Cosworth Pistons, Rods, Bearings, Rings, and Head
Gasket. Gino, from Evolution Racing Engines in Amityville, Ny performed a
complete Port and Polish along with an extreme valve job to match GSC's S2
274/274 Camshafts high duration and lift. Furthermore, an AMS 600HP Fuel
System was customized by us in utilizing Twin External/In-Line Bosch 044
Fuel Pumps feeding a -8 Feed and Return line to an AMS Fuel Pressure
Regulator Kit and AMS Fuel Rail feeding Fuel Injector Clinics 2150 c.c
Injectors. We also decided to purchase an Exedy Twin HD Re-Build kit to
freshen up our clutch which had numerous mid-11 second passes at
EnglishTown, Race Way Park.
Last but not least, The new Tial Q 50mm Blow Off Valve replaced the stock
metal valve which starts leaking at the 27psi marker. We have now
successfully maxed out the stock factory MAF Housing which registers 4.99
Volts from Peak Boos/Torque to our Red-Line of 10,000rpm. The stock factory
MAP Sensor also caps itself out at 33.4psi. We are upgrading to an Omni
4-Bar map sensor to run upwards of 50psi in hopes to max out our Precision
T3 Billet 67-65 turbo and achieve an
absolute minimum of 825whp. Our conclusion for the 2010 Racing Season
motivates us to become a few World Record Holders consisting of: The
World's Highest HP Evo X Gsr with the Stock ECU, Stock MAF, and E-85 Fuel.
Lastly, we are motivated to become The World's Fastest and Quickest Evo X

Sepang - evoX SST - Battle with Porsche 911 Carrera S

The general rule at our track days is that there is no aggressive
overtaking in corners for safety reasons. As a result, this 911 was able
to hold me off for 1.5 laps only because of his superior straight line
speed. Eventually the evos superiority in the corners won out when i got
past on T14 coming into the back straight.
Surprisingly, the 911s straight line speed was not that much faster than my evo based on the drags down
the front (see 0m15sec) and back straight (see 0m41sec). Meanwhile, the
Lambo Gallardo Superleggera made us both look like pedestrians (see

A viper and evo 9 battle it out at Blackhawk farms raceway.
I fast forwarded through some parts where they were just floating behind
some traffic. Watch for the viper to get sideways and the evo to take a
small trip off course!

What happened when this Evo chased a Porsche?
The Smoking Tire heads out to Willow Springs International Raceway to test
a friend's Mitsubishi Evo X, tuned by Road Race Engineering. Is the Evo
quick enough to keep up with a Porsche 996 Cup Car? We'll see.....
