Volvo S60 T5 vs Porsche 997s. Race on autobahn between a Autotech-tuned
s60 t5 and a Porsche 997s (355hp) in speeds from 130-260km/h. The volvo has
~340 hp (software, dp, Intercooler) and keeps up with the 997s
without any problems. Turn up the volume and you will hear both cars when
Volvo S60 T5 2005 0-220km/h
Volvo S60 T5 2005 0-200km/h.
The only mod. is an MTE / TME ecu upgrade.
Serious problems with grip between 0-80km/h... :)
EDIT: This test was done with a hole in one of the hoses to the Intercooler...
I have now replaced the bad hoses with new ones and my car is now faster than ever... :-)

Modern semitrailers for the most part do a good job of keeping passenger
vehicles from sliding underneath them, greatly increasing the chances of
surviving a crash into the back of a large truck, recent tests by the
Insurance Institute for Highway Safety (IIHS) show. But in crashes
involving only a small portion of the truck's rear, most trailers fail to
prevent potentially deadly underride.

Volvo Engine head porting / port matching prep work !

Step two in the project :
Gasket matching is a good way to improve the flow in your head (engine
heads only) and to avoid the bad turbulences where they are not supposed to
be : between parts.
It's the first step in your porting job that you should think about ,and do
with your brain and hands.
The castings patterns are often quite "bad quality" (or i should say the
consequence of the application of a mass production process ) and it's the
way to start this kind of job.
