2002 Pontiac Trans Am WS6 M6 - Stock/Borla Exhaust Comparison
Exhaust comparison between stock and the Borla adjustable catback with the 1/4 plate, mainly to give people ideas of what brand of Exhaust they want, and how much better it sounds/looks over stock. The completely closed plate is very quiet, and the 3/4 & wide open plate is loud and can backfire a lot. I think the 1/4 plate is perfect. Only other mods are SLP lid, UMI short stick, and Corsa clone Exhaust tips. Better quality Borla-only Exhaust sound here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=16KirF7iI_c&list=UUeCQQz4n7K9Ha0mp5iAWgEQ&in dex=3&feature=plcp

LS1 WS6 with Longtubes, Xpipe, Dual Loudmouth II mufflers
Quick camera phone video for new Exhaust setup. Crappy sound quality. Sounds way better in person. Smooth, tame, yet noticeable Exhaust. Tailpipes to the bumper are on a flange, and easily installed and removed. Stock 3.42 gear 10bolt. (Now has a Moser 9" with 4.11s) Mods that affect the sound: Patriot 225/229 .580/.590 114+4 cam, Pacesetter Longtubes, 3" x-pipe into dual SLP Loudmouth II mufflers dumped. 1999 Trans Am WS6 Top Speed Run
Only mods are Exhaust from the rear back and brakes, otherwise a near stock auto Trans Am WS6, if i would had taken the corner at about 140 instead of 135, i would have made it to 160, but it did well. The run Starts at 2:34. This is some proof that a 4A T/A can still haul ass, just not as fun getting their.
