1957 Pontiac Safari Wagon
http://www.barnfineclassics.com/inventory/1957-pontiac-safari-wagon Here's a really neat '57 Safari wagon! It has a Chevy 350 cubic inch V8 and a turbo 350 automatic transmission to move it along. Under the hood you'll find a Quadrajet carburetor, electric fan, chrome valve covers, chrome air cleaner, chrome alternator, Mallory distributor, Mustang II front end with adjustable coil over suspension, and new power disc brakes! Inside it has diamond tuck interior and new carpet! The rear seats fold down so you can haul big items like a surf board! All the lights and the wipers work, and it drives fantastic down the road! It also has new OEM style floor pans and body to frame braces. It sits just right, and sounds like a true hot rod with dual, side exiting, Exhaust! The look is completed with a set of white wall tires and Pontiac hub caps. A really cool wagon with really cool patina!

1957 Pontiac Safari Four Door Stationwagon BluWht SumtFG050513
I can't say that I remember seeing these station wagons back in the day. The chrome trim on the side was evidently unique to the model...I'm glad the owner showed that ad for the car, legitimizing that trim! I liked Pontiac styling for this year..the dash seemed a bit more restrained than previous editions, yet by most standards, would still seem very busy and ornate.

Chevy and Pontiac graveyard. Melbourne,Australia.
So many of these graveyards exist all over the world. This one from right here in Melbourne,Australia. Where in Melbourne this place is i don't know. These are all original rhd's too.All Aussie assembled and sold new here. There should be a law against this. These old analogue pics were given to my brother about 10 years ago now by an old workmate of his. The pics were already quite old back then,so much so that the guy couldn't remember where this place was. These pics are definately from the 80s and there is a red kodak stamp on the back of each photo with 'dec 85' next to it. I'm convinced that's the date they were developed.

Pontiac Banshee A Longer Look
The Banshee was a vision for what the Firebird could become. Of course, this concept car could never be built exactly, too low on the road and it wouldn't pass the safety and crash tests, but it was exciting. It demonstrated that the problem with GM cars didn't sit on the designers' shoulders. They were more than capable of dreaming up engaging and fun vehicles that would set imaginations on fire.

Airbag Explodes Inside Of Computer Monitor
Don't Try This At Home... We're Professional Rednecks! Today we used an airbag from 1980s Ford Taurus (which was known for having lawsuits related to it's deployment power during a collision), and we stuffed it inside of a old PC Monitor.

Very Rare 1931/32 Model A Pickup Barn Find ! 4/18/09
This is a very rare and hard to find Late Production 1931 Model A . In 1932 the Model B was not ready for customers until late April until then Ford sold these Late 31' Model A's as 1932's. You can tell the difference between the earlier A's by looking at the all steel roof as well as the wider bed both of these characteristics are found in the real 32' trucks . If you notice not only is the Bed wider but it has a full steel floor that rest over the wood deck. This truck is a beauty and runs great but to make her truly road worthy she needs papers and working lights as well as some newer tires the ones that are on it hold air but have cracks.

LeMans Safari Station Wagon Classic Estate Break Youngtimer Car Video Review Walk Around
Pontiac Lemans Safari Station Wagon 5.0L 305 V8 Classic Youngtimer Car Video Review Walk Around http://www.1ownercarguy.com Here is a very nice Pontiac Lemans Wagon that is like a muscle car and sports car all in one. It has the looks of a sporty car but is also a wagon that you can haul the whole family around in. As you can see the paint is a little faded but the body is straight and clean. I like the front end on these. All of the chrome is in good condition and has a nice shine to it. I really like the factory wheels that they put on these. Really gives the car a unique look. This car has the 5.0L 305 in it and is a good runner. It has been sitting awhile so does run a little rough but nothing a tune up can't fix. The interior is clean and well maintained. You will be hard pressed to find a cleaner car like this. Pontiac's engines were also downsized, with the standard engine being the Buick 3.8L 231ci V6, Pontiac 265ci V8, or optional Pontiac 4.9L 301ci V8 for 1978, (a Chevy 305ci V8 in California). 1978 also saw Pontiac's 350ci & 400ci engine production shut down after many years of service as its hallmark V8's. A limited production run of 400ci engines was made, but were only available in 1978 and 1979 Trans Ams equipped with the 4-speed manual transmission. From 1978 to 1980, Pontiac's mid-sized lineup included the base Le Mans, Grand Le Mans, and a revived Grand Am; all available as a Coupe, Sedan, or Wagon. Although the new Grand Am was better suited in size and concept than the original 1973--1975 Grand Am as a European-styled touring coupe/sedan, it was not a tremendous seller. In 1980, the Grand Am was only offered as a coupe. With lacking sales, the "Grand Am" nameplate was again discontinued until 1985, when it was reborn as Pontiac's new compact car, a form the Grand Am would take for the next two decades, until being replaced by the Pontiac G6 in 2005.
