When paint cures, entrapped solvents evaporate from the base layer up through the paint. When this occurs sediment is left in the paint's pores.
All painted surfaces are exposed to a certain amount of sulphuric and nitric acids from the atmosphere. These cling to the paint in the forms of oxides. Toughbond's scientifically developed Pre-Treatment Step 1 enters the pores of the painted surface and effectively removes all foreign impurities.
This now allows Toughbond's Acrylic P.T.F.E. Sealant Step 2 to bond chemically to the pores of the paintwork to seal and protect the now highly polished surface. I spent a nice afternoon driving the very rare six-speed manual Chevrolet SSR through some twisty Michigan backroads. Lots of engine noise, V8 power and top down fun, all with excellent audio recording and DrivingExperienceTV's first-person camera angle.
For the best driving experience, wear a set of quality headphones. Both in-ear or over-ear will work fine.
And PS - One of my favorite parts is around 3:40. Enjoy ;)
And don't forget to wear headphones. Seriously, I mean it.

Depois de 3 anos a GM encerra a produção
Poderosa grade frontal, pára-lamas salientes e capô destacado, o desenho do SSR foi inspirado nas picapes norte-americanas produzidas entre 1947 e 1953. Com seu estilo retrô, brilhou no salão de Detroit por duas vezes além de ser destaque por aqui no Salão Internacional do Automóvel de São Paulo.
O modelo foi cuidadosamente projetado durante sete meses. O motor V8 é o mesmo que equipa as últimas séries do Corvette: um 6.0 de 390 cavalos. Mas esse Super Roadster de R$ 230 mil vai se tornar uma raridade. Depois de 3 anos a GM resolveu encerrar a produção do modelo. E essa picape conversível vai virar carro de colecionador.
