Sie sehen hier den Capri mk1 RS 3400 Cosworth von http://www.jdclassics.co.uk/ - gefahren wurde der Rennbolide von John Young und in sämtlichen Rennen kam der Wagen auf die Pole. Der Rennwagen wird seit 2013 intentensiv bei historischen Motorsport Veranstaltungen eingesetzt und schlägt sich mit Jaguar XJS, Jaguar E Type sowie vielen anderen Historischen Rennwägen wie dem Ford Mustang, dem Lotus Cortina oder auch dem Hundeknochen Escort RS2000. Bei der DRM wurde der Ford Capri RS in den 70er Jahren eingesetzt und von Piloten wie Jochen Maas oder Hans Heyer eingesetzt und fuhr dort gegen die Porsche 911 und Porsche 911 RSR. Sowie auch die bekannten Bmw 635 CSI oder teilweise auch die Bmw 2002 turbo. Der Capri, ein reinrassiger Starrachsbolide. Hier ausgerüstet mit dem 3,4 Liter Cosworth Motor leistet bis zu 480Ps bei 8900 Umdrehungen und ist damit ein Hochdrehzahlmotor mit 24 Ventilen im V6 Motor mit geeignetem Zylinderwinkel für hohe Drehzahlen. Auch heute treten noch oft Hobbyrennfahrer in Ford Capri an und fahren gegen modernere Rennwägen wie den Bmw e30 sowie e30 m3 und die E36 armada. Audi A4 1.8T 380Ps Dyno
This is one of the fastest a4 1.8t I have ever seen. The Dyno said it was 380AWHP. to the 380hp was on the wheels. this car spools very quickly and hit the 300km/h mark. 0-200 km/h was done in just 15 seconds. this car got a GT28RS turbo as I know. maybe gt30. The car has the look of an RS4, but its only a very fast A4. On tight corners this car can be faster than the rs4 because it has less weight on the front. this a4 1.8t gt28rs is also really good for some dragstrip. very nice setup. you can really hear the low sound of an 1.8 turbo audi a4.





Zakspeed Ford Turbo Capri
Zakspeed Ford turbo Capri beim AvD Oldtimer GP 2012 auf dem Nürburgring. Peter Zakowski fährt das Original Meisterschaftsauto von 1981, mit dem Klaus Ludwig damals gewann. Das Fahrzeug ist mit dem kleinen Motor der Division 2 bestückt mit 1,4l Hubraum. In beiden Rennen sah Zakowski die Zielflagge wegen technischer Probleme nicht. Im Rennen 1 bedrängt er Oliver Mathai im Porsche 935 und im Rennen 2 räumt er binnen kürzester Zeit das Feld von hinten auf. Sowohl nach dem Training als auch nach dem ersten Rennen wurde am Fahrzeug umfangreich gearbeitet. Der Ladedruck ist noch nicht eingestellt und deshalb hat P.Zakowski die Hand häufiger mal am "Dampfrad". Vom turbo Capri wurden insgesamt fünf Fahrzeuge gebaut. Ein Fahrzeug wurde zerstört, eines zu einem Mustang umgebaut, ein Fahrzeug wurde von Herbert Stenger bei Bergrennen eingesetzt, ein Fahrzeug baut Stefan Mücke in Berlin wieder auf und hier eben das 1981er Meisterschaftsauto bei Zakspeed. onboard race1 at 05:35 onboard race 2 at 12:14

EQUIPMENT Chromed front and rear bumpers, rectangular sealed beam headlamp units with integral sidelights, chromium plated Exhaust trim, lockable fuel cap, dummy air scoops, heater/demister two speed fan, single speed windshield wipers, foot operated two jet windshield washers, padded sun visors, interior light, front package tray, interior bonnet release, front and rear ashtrays. EXTERIOR This stunning early Ford Capri is finished in Ford Red, (colour code BN), and has a deep glossy finish. This car stands very proud and attracts positive reactions everywhere. According to his son, the owner wanted a base 1600 for the design purity but opted for this vehicle to avoid the long waiting time! Fitted with the Custom Plan L Pack, (the exterior dress-up pack), he removed the bright metal trim and kept it boxed thus creating the look he desired! The vehicle is fitted with lightweight composite front wings and there are a few micro-blisters at the top of the passenger 'A' pillar. Repair sections have been professionally welded in the floor and inner rear wheel arches and it is structurally perfect. The chrome is bright and in excellent order. The original front screen has some wiper arm markings. A stunning Capri. INTERIOR The slide-mounted, adjustable, bucket-style front seats are deep wide and beautifully sprung. They are in excellent condition with no tears or markings. The driving position is low with all the instrumentation clear and operational. An additional tachometer was fitted in 1973 and is a beautiful period accessory in full working order. There are no cracks in the fragile dash top and the heater fan is functioning. The original black carpeting is a little worn in places but still very presentable. The out-of-sight 'lights on' rocker switch has been replaced and a period wooden Mountney steering wheel fitted. The original item still boxed to return to standard if required. The door cards and roof lining are all in excellent order with a few tiny nicks. Delightful, retro and comfortable. ENGINE & TRANSMISSION The famous 1600 Kent engine is still fitted to this original Capri and is strong, well maintained and responsive. Auf mehrfachen Wunsch die deutsche Übersetzung: Hier seht ihr meinen 1981er Ford Capri, er verfügt über einen 2.3 Liter V6 Vergaser-Motor. Das Fahrzeug hat eine Automatische Choke-Vorrichting, was bedeutet, daß man bei Kälte keinen Knopf ziehen muß so wie bei früheren Vergaser Motoren. Zweimaliges drücken des Gaspedas sollte den automatischen Vergaser aktivieren (hat hier anscheinend nicht so funktionert) Ich finde das Fahrzeug hat einen tollen Sound verglichen mit den heutigen Autos. It rides on a custom-built tube chassis that's fabricated from 1.5-inch tube. It also utilizes the rear-end (inboard disc brakes and all) from an early Jaguar.
