The Olds is gone and here is its replacement. A 1989 Buick Lesabre T-Type. All it really needs is some rust repair and some paint.

A walk around of the prototype Buick Lesabre t-type project. Project concise of the Buick L67 3800 engine (long) block (all stock internal with camshaft) with stock BLT intake manifold. Injectors are 36lbs Delphi.TDO6 turbocharger, F40 six speed manual transmission, Custom aluminum flywheel,11 inch front Disc (ABS) brakes. KYB AGX struts with 7/8 rear sway (anti-roll) bar.The turbo system is liquid inter cool. Paint is next on the to-do-list and chrome surface the aluminum section of the rims. The is the final test drive with a Student. Engine is still missing a Boost controller (delta gate), so the engine will shut down some time when drive extremely hard. Assembling modified Buick LN3 3800 Series I engine. Low-tension piston rings. The entire rotating ammembly is together and torqued to specs. Even so, I can rotate the engine by hand (ONE hand, at that!) by turning the crank pulley. This is how a new engine should feel. The camera picks up well the sliding sound of the new pistons on the new cylinder bore. It is not really that loud! This engine is for an 89 LeSabre T. It has been modified. It has Series II 9.8:1 compression pistons (with low-tension rings); 252° Delta Cams modified roller camshaft; ported heads, inlet and Exhaust manifolds; and a re-tune of the ECM.

Well i have finally made progress with the turbo six speed project. In this video you will notice the Exhaust system is complete and install. The car is pre paint with enamel black, until final painting with gloss. The engine is still in need for a Boost controller. Got the car for $800 bucks. threw in a new battery and fired it up. Had no idea there was only 2,000 miles on a REAL vintage Keith Black rebuild under the hood. we were pretty damn surprised. burned out spark plug wire causing the miss.
