Nissan VG33E(V6)Engine - OBD-II Hitachi Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) Ajustment and idle control
In the video we show you how to adjust the Throttle Position Sensor(TPS) on the Nissan frontier Vg33e(V6) Engine. By using a multi-volt meter we explain all the process to make a proper adjustment to the TPS. HOW TO ADJUST THE THROTTLE POSITION SENSOR. HOW TO MAKE CHANGES IN ENGINE IDLE. The throttle position sensor responds to the acceleration pedal movement. This sensor is a kind of POTENTIOMETER which transforms the throttle position into output voltage, and emits the voltage signal to the ECM. In addition, the sensor detect the opening and closing speed of the throttle valve and feeds the voltage singal to the ECM. Idle position of the throttle valve is determined by the ECM recieveing the signal from the throttle position sensor. This sensor controls engine such as fuel cut. On the other hand, the "Wide Open and Close Throttle position switch", Which is build into the throttle position sensor unit, is not used for engine control. DTC(code) P01231 is Throttle Position Sensor circuit range/performance problem - (A) A High voltage from the sensor is send to ECM under light load driving condition - Possible cause is Harness or Connector(TP) sensor circuit is open or shorted, or TPS, or Fuel injector, or Camshaft position sensor, or Mass air flow sensor. DTC(code) - P0121 is Throttle position sensor circuit range/performance problem - (B) A low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM under Heavy load driving condition - Possible cause is Harness or connector(The TP sensor circuit is open or shorted.), or Intake air leak, or TP sensor.





OBD-II DTC(Code) P0127/P0112/P0113 IAT(Intake Air Temperature) Sensor. How to test/diagnois.
In this video we take a look at the Intake Air Temperature(IAT) Sensor(DTC Code) That will cause the "CHECK ENGINE" light to display on the dashboard gauge cluster. Here we will review the location of the IAT sensor PLUS explain a method of testing the sensor at various ambient air temperature. The intake air temperature sensor is mounted to the air duct housing or air filter compartment. The sensor detects intake air temperature and transmits a signal to the ECM. The temperature sensing unit uses a thermistor which is sensitive to the change in temperature. Electrical resistance of the thermistor decreases in response to the temperature rise. Digital Multi-Volt OHMS reading for intake air temperature @ 68F degree is 2.1 - 2.9 ohms and 3.5 volts at sensor harness plug. Digital Multi-Volt OHMS reading for intake air temperature @176F degree is 0.27 - 0.38 ohms and 1.23 volts at sensor harness plug. * use a 10M ohms Digital multi-volt meter for testing* DTC P0112 - intake air temperature sensor circuit low input - An excessively low voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM- possible cause - Harness or connector(the sensor circuit is open or shorted to ground). DTC P0113 - air intake temperature sensor circuit high input - A excessively volt high voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM - possible cause - intake air temperature sensor. DTC P0127 - intake air temperature too high - rationally incorrect voltage from the sensor is sent to ECM, compared with the voltage signal from engine coolant temperature sensor - possible cause - Harness or connectors(the sensor circuit is open or shorted), or intake air temperature sensor THANK YOU for view this TECHNICAL VIDEO MEDIA, and SUPPORTING of Independent Media.

A walk around of the prototype Buick Lesabre t-type project. Project concise of the Buick L67 3800 engine (long) block (all stock internal with camshaft) with stock BLT intake manifold. Injectors are 36lbs Delphi.TDO6 turbocharger, F40 six speed manual transmission, Custom aluminum flywheel,11 inch front Disc (ABS) brakes. KYB AGX struts with 7/8 rear sway (anti-roll) bar.The turbo system is liquid inter cool. Paint is next on the to-do-list and chrome surface the aluminum section of the rims. In-car drive video of my Lesabre T-type with a Series 1 L67 swap. Engine mods include and 2.5" Supercharger pulley, ported Supercharger inlet and outlet, ported non-walled intake manifold, fenderwell intake,180 degree thermostat, '97+ L67 ignition coils, Autolite 104 spark plugs, AC Delco 8mm plug wires, custom Exhaust, Walbro 255 fuel pump and performance PCM tune.





Seafoam a 1994 Buick Lesabre 3800 Series I
note, i spent a lot more time degreasing that engine (about another two hours after) and it's practically spotless now, including the cans, battery and the rest of the engine compartment. i'm going to pressure wash the frame beneath the engine since i can't reach down there to scrub it. This was a third can of seafoam induced via the brake Booster line into the engine then left to sit for five to ten minutes.

It's not drop dead gorgeous like a 1959 Impala, nor does it have the panache of say a 1956 Chrysler 300. You see the '55 Buick Special was a working mans car. It had room enough for the whole family, a decent power-plant thanks to its 264 cubic inch V8, and style that was, well... above average.
