2011 Mustang V6 3.7L BBK Long Tube Headers and Off Road X-Pipe
Just installed the BBK Long Tube Headers and BBK Off Road X-Pipe. These are the mods that I had before the install: C&L Cold Air Intake, Bama 93 Custom Tune, Roush Axle Back Exhaust. The install is very easy however the only issue I came across was the fact that BBK sent me the wrong O2 Sensor Extensions. They told me that no one makes them yet and I also found in the forums people that were complaining about the same thing. The fix they suggested was to solder an extension that is exactly what I did and it worked perfectly. This setup is EXTREMELY loud and I think the Roush has alot to do with it. It was already a little drony at 3000RPM before the LTs and now its even more. I am going to get a Dyno with this setup and then im going to slap on the stock Exhaust to see how it sounds. I will post videos for those 2 things for sure. I also just received the Bama Custom Tune that took the long tube headers into account and WHAT A DIFFERENCE! Highly recommend BBK and OR X-Pipe with the Bama Tune by American Muscle...

What we wanted to find out is just how much faster is not only how much the 2013 Mustang can go to 60 MPH, but also (and perhaps more importunity) how much that extra speed costs. In order to do that we got two 2013 Mustangs together and Mashed them up to find out.

Regal: TVS swap with stock TVS pulley. 7psi of Boost. vs full bolt on, 3.55 gears, tuned 1998 Cobra. Regal: same setup as vs the 2011 v6 Vs 330whp low 12 second Vortech supercharged 2002 Mustang GT. 2011 V6 Mustang BBK & Borla Exhaust
2011 V6 Mustang first shown with BBK ceramic long tube headers, catted x-pipe, and stock axel-backs mufflers. The mufflers are then switched out with the Borla S-type axel-backs. I am very satisfied with this set-up, this may be the first Mustang with this exact set-up because there are many different Exhaust system combinations you can go with. I chose the Borla S-types becasue I am a daily driver so I want it loud when I want it, and not when I dont want it to be. And thats what I got! It was a bit of a shot in the dark when deciding; I was concerned they would be too loud. But after a few hundred miles of break-in, the Borlas quiet the system down a bit during daily driving, and make it a little deeper as well. Dont get me wrong though...when you step on it, its very loud! These tips are big- 4.5 inches, and they look even better in person! Other performance upgrades: C&L cold air intake, Araid throttle body spacer, 93 octane Bama custom tune, 3.31 gears, Ford Racing strut tower bar





1st NA 2011+ Mustang 3.7 V6 in the 12's!!
Video of my 2011 3.7 V6 Mustang with a 6 speed manual trans at a track rental at MIR on 9/24/12. I became the first NA (naturally aspirated) '11+ 3.7 Mustang to run in the 12's in a 1/4 mile and set the national record for the lowest ET with one of these cars. The previous record was a 13.02 with an automatic car. The car has the following mods: C&L CAI, AM/Bama 93H tune, BBK LT's with matching O/R X-pipe, Flowmaster 'Force II' axleback with a set of stock '11 GT resonators welded in (to tame the sound), 3.73 gears, J&M LCA's, Shaftmasters aluminum driveshaft, Steeda shifter, Spec Stage 1 clutch, 17" Race Star wheels, M&H bias ply front tires and 26x11.5x17 M/T ET Street bias ply rear tires. I would like to thank my son for taking the videos and the great job of editing!!
