355Nation - 2005 Chevy Colorado Throttle Body Cleaning
This is the before and after of the throttle body on my 2005 Chevy Colorado 3.5l. It was never cleaned with 149,800 miles, and this is the difference. It idles way better, more performance. I cleaned it with a $5 can of throttle body cleaner, and a microfiber cloth, it took me 15 minutes to do. The only performance mod is a K&N intake.

Trailblazer P0340 - Cam sensor test and replace
This is not a P0340 tutorial. This is what it took to convince me that the cam sensor in my 03 needed to be replaced. Doing the other tests that I did prior to this test would have made this video run way too long. The 5v and ground circuits were verified, it passed the tap test, cam count never dropped on the Tech2, so watching the cam sig was the next step. I have to admit I got lucky here. I only saw the glitch twice. With the problem being so intermittent I was expecting to have the drive the truck with the equipment hooked up to catch it. For you folks at home, if you want to gamble $26 on an AC Delco cam sensor, statistics are on your side....but don't expect a fix. Again, this isn't a tutorial. Just like the case I talked about, they banged in a sensor based on the P0340 only and when that didn't fix it, it went to a shop. I just don't want to give anyone a false hope that banging in a sensor will fix the problem. And there are way too many possible root causes to have them all in one video. Cam sensor bolt torque: 89 INCH/lbs. Update August 2013 - The first line of the description says that this is not a tutorial. If you snorted your months supply of ADD mediation by the fifth of the month and can't watch an entire video, kill yourself. The sensor replacement is only a small part of the video.

2015 GMC Canyon SLE 4x4 Crew Cab: The Return of the Compact Truck?
I have to admit, I've been waiting for this one for awhile. In some ways I find it odd that a non-enthusist vehicle could matter so much. The reality is the mid-size truck segment has been left to whither over the last several years. GM's new midsize could just change all that. As always, this is an independent, script-free review from an amateur car reviewer. I make these videos myself and am in no way affiliated or paid by the manufacturers or dealerships. I hope this vehicle provides a valuable, real-world review for you. thanks for stopping by. Please like, subscribe and share. -Greg A big thanks to! www.ricoautocomplex.com

How to clean a throttle body and Idle air control valve (iac)
*** PLEASE READ *** In this video demonstration, I show how to get to, remove, clean, and replace the throttle body and idle air control motor (aka IAC) on a 4.2l ford motor. This procedure is the same for any fuel injected vehicle. * * * Check out my website krkvideos.com * * * The vans require removal of alot more stuff just to access the throttle body. A dirty IAC can cause a rough idle. A dirty throttle body can harm performance and cause rough engine operation. When the throttle body or iac is removed a new gasket must be used to properly seal the connection to the intake. GM idle air motors are generally mounted on the throttle body and can be cleaned without removal from the throttle body. This means one less gasket and a lesser chance of creating a vacuum leak. The ford throttle body had a note on it that said it was not to be cleaned because the coating on the throttle blade might be damaged. Thats fine for a new car but that has to be disregarded when working on something that has some miles on it. Subscribe to my channel. * * * Definitions: * * * MAF - Mass Air Flow sensor - Monitors the amount of air the engine is intaking. IAT - Intake Air Temperature - Measures the temperature of the air the engine is intaking. IAC - Idle air control - Controls the amount of air the engine is intaking while it is idling. Throttle body - Responsible for regulating flow of air into the engine as you press the gas pedal. TPS - Throttle position sensor - Tells the computer how far you are opening the blade in the throttle body so it can add more fuel to compensate the added air. * * * Visit krkvideos.com for more! * * * * * * Visit krkvideos.com for more! * * * * * * Visit krkvideos.com for more! * * *
