1973 Ford Mustang with mild 250 I6
'73 Mustang with rebuilt
250, "big brother" to the Ford 200-6. First start in about a month. Was
about fifty degrees.
This pony car's engine had a few goodies added when it was rebuilt by my
friend a few years back. He added a hotter ( just by a bit ) cam, headers,
and a free flowing Exhaust. What is
unusual about this engine, is that the intake runners are part of the
cylinder head, making the addition of an aftermarket intake and carb
difficult. It can be done, but you'd have to invest in a different head.
That was the original plan with this build, but funds ran out, so its
enlisted in daily driver duty right now.
The car also has a semi-restored interior and some other additions to the
engine bay and suspension that I'm forgetting. Maybe I'll make an actual
introduction to this car when the weather gets a little nicer?
