Rat Rod Central
This year's World of Wheels at McCormick Place in late January had a great
rat rod display, but the video had to wait until I found the right music.
And it doesn't get much better than Mickey Gilley "Drive-In Movie" and
Eddie Cochran "Somethin' Else".
And to the guy behind me talking to his friend while I was shooting: They
DIDN'T forget to paint them! And that's the main attitude that people who
own or like rat rods have to put up with.
The Shark (Rat Rod)
Interesting things found at small, local car shows. This project was found
in southern New Mexico. The song is Rat Rod by Terry Davidson and the
Gears from the album Damnation Blues. Available for download from Amazon.
80 yr old RATROD hits 172MPH + Daily prizes at StreetFire
When Tony Lee and his wife felled a tree growing through the center of a
rusted 1930's sedan years ago, they couldnt imagine the project they were
undertaking would end up in this- a RatRod capable of over 170 MPH. Check
