TRUTH IN 24 II - Every Second Counts

The Le Mans 24 Hours are a legend. They are mentioned in the same breath as the Rallye Monte Carlo, the Monaco Grand Prix and the Indianapolis 500. Since 1923, hundreds of thousands of motorsport enthusiasts have been flocking to La Sarthe year by year to experience the one-day race. To watch the protagonists in their sports cars battle for each place and each meter of tarmac with bated breath. The drivers cover 4,800 kilometers in 24 hours - almost as many as the Formula One racers in a whole year. Every Le Mans winner has gone down in history. The three Audi drivers Andr‚ Lotterer, BenoŒt Tr‚luyer and Marcel F„ssler did so in a special way with the triumph they achieved in 2011. The film TRUTH IN 24 II documents the tenth and arguably most emotional triumph of the brand with the four rings at this sports car classic. After two Audi R18 TDI cars have retired following spectacular accidents, the remaining Audi fights a dramatic battle for overall victory with the three Peugeot 908 cars ? which the Audi trio ultimately decides in its favor with a narrow margin of 13 seconds. The film captures the entire drama of the fourth-narrowest running of the Le Mans 24 Hours ? with intimate insights into the team of Audi Sport and breath-taking pictures. Audi RS Moments of Truth - 1983: quattro
Audi RS "Moments of Truth" is a series of highly stylized, dynamic short-form documentaries that capture a moment in time -- visual, visceral proof of the impact that technological innovation and risk-taking has had on performance in a highly competitive world. This film tells the story of Audi quattro and the advantage that four-wheel drive technology afforded Audi race teams in the early 1980s on the FIA World Rally Championship circuit. Audi driver and WRC Champion Hannu Mikkola tells the story of his win at the 1983 1000 Lakes Rally in Finland -- a grueling race full of big-air jumps and hairpin turns. Audi quattro GmbH head of development Stephan Reil links the story to modern day refinements of the quattro drivetrain bringing to life the technological benefits of the crown gear and sport differential through dynamic track footage of the all-new RS 5. "It Couldn't Be Done" - New Audi Commercial
This is the story of over 100 years of Audi innovation. The story of doing things that have never been done before. And doing them until they're perfect. From the very first Audi ever built, to the Audi 100, to quattro® all-wheel drive, ASF® space frame technology, the iconic TT, motorsport and beyond. It's the story of doing the impossible, and it still holds true today. The inspiring words that help tell this story are from the poem, "It Couldn't be Done" written by the late poet Edgar Albert Guest.

Audi RS Moments of Truth - 2011: Audi ultra
Audi RS "Moments of Truth" is a series of highly stylized, dynamic short-form documentaries that capture a moment in time -- visual, visceral proof of the impact that technological innovation and risk-taking has had on performance in a highly competitive world. This film tells the story of Audi ultra through the victory of the R18 at the 2011 24 Hours of LeMans. Race driver Benoît Tréluyer and race engineer Leena Gade focus the story on Tréluyer's incredible outside pass of the Peugeot car in the late stages of the race. Tréluyer's risky pass that contributed to ultimate victory was made with the confidence of knowing the R18 possessed unparalleled power and handling by virtue of Audi ultra lightweight technology. The film then links this motor sports moment of truth to a story of ultra philosophy as implemented in the RS 5. quattro GmbH engineer Michael Kerber brings to life the visual technological proof in the form of waved brakes in the RS 5 and through specific track footage of the RS 5.
