On-board 'Bluebell" the Morris Minor at Oulton Park in the HRDC racing series
Highlights using the new DRIFT HD camera from a busy Oulton Park race on
May 11th 2013.
Poor start from Andy who avoids the first corner crash - then later spins
Mark takes over - he also gets too excited and spins out!
Still managed to win the class (when the Kennedy Fiat retires) and set
fastest lap at the end.
NEXT RACE - 7 July Brands Hatch!
Morris Minor 5.2 V8 With & Without Silencers
A quick compilation of my before and after silencers on my moggy. The old
silencers were starting to blow and make a rattling sound so just put some
straight through pipes on until I can get some cherry bombs in the right
size. Sounds great! :-)
V8 Morris Minor Part 3
It's a minor! jago chassis, glass flip front, narrowed xj12 rear with LSD,
viva front, 318 mopar v8 (5.2 litre), 3 speed trans, 295 profile rear tyres
getting a little smokey...
The first bit where I pull away is just wheel spinning, the roads were
naffing wet, can hear my dad goin' "woah, woah!" as it was getting a bit
out of shape, haha.
It's quite handy for overtaking. Cheers for watching!

Morris Minor Suspension Upgrade
Once again the first 10 minutes of the 2 and a bit hour suspension dvd. In
it we cover in detail fitting gas adjustable shocks on the front and rear
but we make our own brackets for the rear and save hundreds of pounds and
the templates for which are available to download. Then theres fitting
polybushes, stripping the front and rear suspension, making rose jointed
panhard rods and axle locating rods which make an amazing difference to the
handling all shown in my usual detail. If you are fitting super pro
polyurethane bushes or polybush then on the dvd is close film of how to do
it. Changing torsion bars, torsion bar bushes, how to fit an anti roll bar.
Theres fitting trunnion bushes and rear leaf spring bushes and springs all
in detail. Even if you just want to learn how to make a rose jointed
panhard rod and rose jointed anti tramp bar its all here.
The Classic Morris Minor Car Story \*Great * * Five * Star */
Eric Lord the director of Morris motors said that Lord Nutfield thought
that the new Morris Minor look like a poached egg and that the car was
narrow gutted. The people in the department worked though the night and
literary cut the car in two down the middle. Then added four inches down
the centre of the car, this then made all the difference to it appearance.
You can see it in the bonnet and also in the front bumper. Morris Minor had
its depute at Earls court motor show in October 1948 with a price tag of
£358/10's/7d. And this new model was only announced on the eve of the
show. And of course this show was the export only show. All the new model
there you could look at touch but could order or drive them home!
