This TL comes with a VTEC 3.2L SOHC V6 which pumps 225 HP thru 5 speed auto.
The condition of this car was in overall excellent shape but unfortunately, the Transmission was screwed. Shifts were weak & delayed. Reverse gear remained neutral if not given some throttle input, you'll notice that clunk which is when the tranny finally engaged.

A quick overview of my personal car, been driving it for almost 2 years but its been in my family since 2007, it had 66,000 miles when we bought it from the original owner. I love it, but its time for a smaller, more fuel efficient car in the next 2 years. I forgot to mention my transmission is original so I got lucky since these generations are prone to failure.
1999 Acura 3.2 TL Startup
I haven't seen but one or two videos on YouTube on the startup sequence for the second generation Acura TL. Now that I have one of my own (I bought this car about a month and a half ago after YEARS of wanting one), I took the liberty of filming the start up/ignition process for anyone who wants to see how it is (like I did for a long time!). I also recorded the power-on sequence for the headlights (OEM xenon/HID). It's an awesome car and I hope to record more vids of it sometime.
