filming is a bit of a tard... the truck still have the old 4L60E tranny
with 126,000 miles on it... 3.42 limited slip rear end... stock vortec
intake and stock vortec tune... this truck is no where near finished just
together so i have somthing to drive lol ya its my DD!
Xtreme Blazer LS1 5.7 Build
The building of the Xtreme Blazer that gm should have built. A 98 Camaro SS motor rebuilt, with a
thunder racing cam tr 224/224-112. s10v8.com's urethane engine mounts and
sanderson shorty headers full 2.5 inch dual Exhaust, no cats, flow master super 44's. ported
Exhaust side of the heads. ported
throttle body. 85 mm slp mass air flow. fast fuel rails, and an -06 fuel
line from c5 corvette filter. rebuilt transmission with monster
transmission rebuild kit. ssp wiring harness full oem plug in and run s10
swap harness. 5.3 oil pan, no notching the frame needed with truck pan.
2500 stall converter with the 4l60E rebuilt to handle 500+hp. hawk hps pads
and drilled and slotted rotors front and rear. goodridge stainless steel
brake lines. belltech 2 inch drop spindles and 2 inch blocks. total of 2
months to do the swap.
S10 5.3 Vortec first start
This is the first and second start of my s10 that is sitting on a k20
blazer frame with a 5.3 Vortec out of a 2000 Silverado. First start is with
just Exhaust manifolds, Second start
is with straight pipes.

The gauges arent all working, we still need to hook up the speedo and find
a sending unit to put in the pass side head that this gauge can read.
untill then he has an Innovative Tech scanner that has an iPhone app, so we
read the water temp and speed through the iPhone

pulley, 1 3/4" long tube header, 3" Exhaust, built 4l60e, 3600 stall, 10 bolt rear

Tim's 1994 5.3 S10 First Startup
this is a truck i started putting together 2 weeks ago (3-2-11) and today
(3-13-11) it fired up for the first time. this is a budget build, this will
be a daily driver, work truck, not a race truck ........... yet. THIS IS
NOT MY TRUCK, its my good friend Tim's truck. It has a 2002 L59 5.3L and
4L60 trans, which we found out is no good, FML. since this is a junkyard
build the pullout is still under warranty and ill get another trans monday.
there are no performance mods done to anything, its just a stock engine and
5.3 s10 vs 6.0 Turbo Silverado
silverado has a 6.0 with with a small 67mm front mount running 9lbs of Boost, methanol, ss3200 yank converter,
s10 has a 5.3 with a tr220 cam, ss3600 yank, stock 862 heads, tune

20" MB Gunner Wheels
The motor mount adapter plates used in this video place the engine one inch
too far forward. You need the adapter plates called the "One Inch Set-back"
plates. They'll place the engine and trans perfectly so that you can use
your original driveshaft without modification. They can be found on eBay
for $60 shipped.
